I have heard of many success stories from online dating. It could work, but you can also waste a lot of time with it.

online frends is available, but online lover can be dangerous.you don't know the real information and personality of them.maybe he or she is married, they are bad persons and lie to you from the beginning.you will get hurt when the truth is out.at least i don't believe what they tell me in the internet!

I just want to clear this up before I start reply to your question. Not everyone on an online dating site are looking for soulmates or dating. I find that dating sites have options such as casual dating, hangout, friends, and long term not everyone is there for dating. Some people think they will find soulmates its not a bad idea to search as you may find someone special. I think dating sites is a great way to search for someone in particular rather than meeting someone in person. In online dating you can search ages, relationship status, there hobbies/interests and most things about them so it makes it easier to look for someone of your interest which is great.

I don't think it's easy to get online and date to look for a soul mate. I do think alot of people want to 'experience' what it's like to date online. Besides, some people just want the fun out of it, something different apart from what they have offline. Sometimes, they do meet someone and they do share a common bond.
