Dear My Friends,
It was nearly 4 months I joined the Gomez PEER has yet to produce anything. All the instructions in the FAQ that site I've done but the result is still zero. Is the Gomez PEER scam? If not what else should I do? All my data is equated, the applications already installed & pc flame me almost 24 hours every day. No $1 went into my paypal account. Please help & guide them. Thank you

No, GomezPeer is certainly not a 'scam'. They pay reliably and automatically to those they have approved. They ONLY pay those who are approved (but they do show your potential earnings while you are pending, which has confused some people). Their minimum payment is $5, so you have to reach that, once you are approved, before you will be paid.

@ saumitrakumar: GomezPeer is a site which pays for using the spare processing power of your PC. In other words, it is a site where you can earn literally by doing nothing at all (except, of course, having your PC switched on and connected to the Internet). There is a full explanation on the GomezPeer site: http://tinyurl.com/GomezPeer-Info
It is a site where membership is not automatic, however. You have to apply and be approved before you can earn. Approval is based on your PC's configuration - the operating system, processor type, internet connection and so on - and on the country you live in. It is not automatic and it may take a month or longer to be approved. At the moment, they are particularly interested in people with dial-up connections.

Whilst your status is 'pending' on GomezPeer, the application shows 'earnings' but these are only 'earnings you might have made had you been approved'. Once you are approved, the earnings reset to zero and none of the 'notional earnings' count. Don't worry about this, however. They haven't defrauded you. You can't start earning or be paid anything until you are approved. It's just that the software automatically calculates 'earnings' based on your country of origin and the actual processing time.

The minimum of payout is $5.00 a month, if nothing change ever since. I got paid many times from this website, but lately I was active, because this small program tracking my pc usage was installed in my older computer, and I don't use it that much lately, and my older computer has a bit of problem lately too, so I didn't use it. If you are already accepted as member, and you turn on your computer almost daily, you should accumulated a lot of hours and you should get paid fast too.

While you are pending, the statistics display earnings but you are not actually earning anything. Once you are approved, the 'earnings' will reset to zero and you will see them increase. When you reach $5 or more, you will be paid after the end of that month (usually, as with MyLot, about the middle of the month following that in which you earned the minimum).
Four months or longer is not an unusual time to wait before being approved.

My computer is always on and connected to the internet, four months I have used this application but so far I have not received payment at all. Is your membership status active? Why is my membership status is always pending? Does it affect our income? Please clarity. Thank you. Have a nice day

I don't know because I have never heard of or used the service but apparently some say it's not a scam but I read someone say that you have to be approved to become a member, and I tend to steer clear of approval based sites because they tend to last only a short while and the pay seems to get lower and lower over time with those sort of sites, also approval based programs tend to require too much effort to earn from them
That said, all you can do is research as much as you can and decide for yourself if the site is legit and worth your time and effort.

I am not sure how quickly it changes from Pending to active, but it happened to me 10 mins ago! I was well chuffed. I am from Scotland if area makes a difference. I have had it for 5 days solid now running hitting 7545 online time, processing 954. Just the one computer, and I became active. So it does work, Ill let you know how it goes at the end of the month re: payment, but happy that its finally off of pending.
I have heard talk you need to make sure your address etc is correct so check that you have filled that out proparly on the website. I do remember having to add extra info.
On a side not, not trying to hijack - If someone seeing this likes the idea of trying it, then they can sign up here with this link, hopefully it wouldnt be against mylot rules but i didnt see anything against referals as long as it was relating to the discussion and well you cant go wrong helping a bro out...

I THINK is the link as I havent tried referrals yet as I only joined 5 days ago to see if it worked, but yes, I got accepted today. So it can happen. Happy :)

you are not supposed to post any referral links. You might contact them or hit the report button and ask them to remove the post and let them know you didn't know. They will probably delete the post anyway and it might be better if you ask them to do it for you.

Just as an added note, now Im starting to worry now Ive posted it as I havent seen any other links regarding gomez or referring. Could someone (preferably from mylot) clarify if its ok or not. I dont want to mess stuff with up mylot as I really like this site. Id delete it but not sure how (and kinda pointless if it is ok) Any clarifications as now im all a bit nervous :/
In case my post does get deleted as Im having that whole second-guessing doubt feeling now...
I was basically saying that I managed to get to active with 5 days constant online on laptop. 7545 online time, and processing 954, from Scotland. Oh and the added point was to check all your info and fill in extra on the site.

I am not sure whether Gomez Peer is a scam or not. But I started to join in since September 1st last year. I kept myself online for a long time everyday. However, my total earning for several days was just one cent. This is so discouraging. Besides it, my anti-virus software ever warned me to remove this software. It also slowed down my computer. So finally I decided to uninstall it as I didn't want to take a risk for such a low paid.
I love China

I had Gomez PEER on my computer for a while. They don't select you as being active unless you meet certain criteria. I was running it for a year before they made me active so that I started earning. Unfortunately, I moved to an area where I didn't have internet access so I stopped running it. Then my account was inactivated so I won't bother joining it again. I don't remember if I ever got paid by them, but I don't know that I want someone else using my computer.

These programs need a lot of referrals and I've tried it before. The amount just stays stagnant down there and doesn't move at all. They market it to be like this: just have your computer switched on for the whole day if you can, then the PEER will generate money for you but that's just their marketing gimmick. Instead, when we switch on our computers and have the program installed, they actually gain information from us everytime we log in, things like IP address so on and so forth and what do they do? They may sell those information to internet surveyors and that's how we get unwanted surveys. I've hence uninstalled it as I found it to be of absolutely no use. It just eats up computer processes and the electricity bills. I rather play my game than to see the amount staying stagnant down there LOL.

Hi
I haven't joined it yet.. but I have heard about it many times here on mylot from friends. And from that I can say that surely they are not scam. You need to get approval from that site ,so only after get approval you will be paid. And that also after reaching minimum payout which is 5$. This site is online since long and paying to their members regularly on time.
