my daughter is eleven. Nowadays she shows a much interest in cooking. she loves to cook new things. But I never let her to use the cooker. But she is allowed to use microwave or mini oven. I am so happy to watch her new change. But she messes up the kitchen floor. Ok I do the cleaning. Now share your views friends.

Hi, Kalyani acca, that may be a good start for your grand daughter. Observing, pretending and then following is the right way. I remember when my daughter was 3 she was also with me in the kitchen. that is the way they learn a lot.

Our 11 year old who visits us once a year, as she lives with her mother in England. This summer showed a great interest in baking and yes the messes, OMG. Lots for me to clean up after.
But the smiles on her face after accomplishing her creations was well worth it.
