I think it's finally working. I have have been trying so hard to become more aware of things beyond my 5 senses and yesterday I had an experience that showed it's working. I was driving to the market and as I drove around a corner I got a very heavy feeling, so I looked for something odd and there it was, a traffic cop was in his car on the side of the road and as I got closer I saw a loose dog right behind his car. It was in his blind spot, he couldn't see it. I was able to pull over and tell his about it. He thanked me and I drove on. As soon as I left I felt the heavyness lift and everything was back to normal.
i don't know what he did about the dog, but I felt I had done what I could. Do you think it's working for me?

You said that you have been trying at being more aware. What did you do exactly?
Was the dog chasing the car? I'm glad you were at the right place and that you trusted what your instincts are telling you.

I meditate and try to just be aware, even of the smallest change in energy around me. The car was not moving, the Cop was parked and couldn't see the dog which was right under his back bumper, If he had backed up to leave his spot he would have hit it for sure. All this took place on the side of a very busy road.

I think that it might be working for you. I've always known that I have a sixth sense about things and there are times that it works in my favor and there are other times that it works to my detriment because I will have that feeling that something is going to happen that is bad and I can't pin-point it so there is nothing that I can do about it.
But, being in tune with that extra sense I think really is a good thing in the long run.

Hi savypat, That is interesting and yes it may be starting to work for you. I've had similar experiences but I've never had any control over it. It would be great if you could train your mind to react whenever something out of the ordinary is happening. If this is what was happening yeserday, you may be making progres. Blessings.

If we only pay attention to what is around us our senses will develop more than they are. We are so distracted by noise, cell phones, traffic and worries that our senses are barely functioning.
I like to sit outside several times a day and just feel, listen and really see things. I feel that my senses by been honed by this habit. When I was small my grandpa taught me to sharpen my senses in this way and my dad taught me to "feel" the presence of animals when we walked in the woods or fields or when we were hunting. We should all take time to do such things and we would enjoy life much more.
Keep it up, you'll be surprised how much you've missed!

It is always a good thing to be aware of things around you. Too many people just go about their business in a robotic fashion. Being aware is very important, especially living in a city. But, being aware could have it's drawbacks also, like the feeling of being paranoid, or in fear. Try to keep it under control.
