Editing posts at myLot.com

Today I joined myLot.com and one thing that immediately caught my attention was the fact that I was not able to edit any of my posts/messages nor comments. Is it just me or is there a way to edit them? Otherwise I think it would be pretty useful because sometimes a message needs to be edited for whatever reason or when I forgot about some tags for my post, I'd like to still add them. Thoughts?

I wish mylot would allow us to edit our posts. I also hope they would allow us to delete our posts too if we change our minds later on. But so far that is not possible. There are times when I make mistakes posting comments and I have noticed other people making similar mistakes as well.

But sometimes you realise the mistake after you have posted it. Like what has happened in your post above.
I didn't intend for this to be 2 responses to your comment but the first one was posted mistakenly after I included the lol face. And I can not do anything about it but post this second response to complete what I was about to say initially.

webcodez you preview and edit before you hit post so do not just hurry and just slam on post, hit preview first then you have a choice to edit it thoroughly before you post. If you skip preview and edit then you are left with errors. the same thing with private messages you hit preview and are asked if you wish to edit so do
so as you can clean up your message before posting it. its all there if you just look at it and use it

I agree with the reasons that have been stated here for why we are not allowed to edit once something is posted. However, I think that the biggest reason is earnings. We get paid for what we type, so how would the earnings algorithm work if everybody was allowed to edit all of their work once it was posted? I think that it would be far too complicated to calculate, especially if people chose to edit a lot. Therefore, it can remain or it can be deleted, but editing is not an option.

Yes there's no way that we can edit them. I posted a discussion twice accidentally because of my slow internet connection and I can no longer remove the discussion. I also made some discussions with wrong grammar and I can no longer edit them. It is really funny to read those mistakes I made.

hi webcodez
of course we can't do that, if it has been posted. that happen not only on mylot, facebook, and any websites can't do that to.
