As a "creative" person, the first site that excited me was Gather. People have described it as "social networking for adults," as it doesn't have a lot of the "noise" and nonsense as MySpace and Facebook. I could post my dance pictures and videos and also post my writings, and other images and videos. You can post pretty much anything and you don't have to wait for approval either. Commenting on other people's work and building a network is also helpful. You earn points based on your participation, and once you have accumulated a certain amount, you can cash out for gift cards, merchandise, or even Paypal payments (which is what I always get). I have since branched out into other sites as well (or am trying to), but Gather was a terrific site to start with for me.

There are many different ways of making some money online, some are legit, some are just scams not keeping their promises. Inbox dollar is pretty good also Synovate. It's a lot of surveys but you earn pretty fast. Inbox dollar has tasks you can do that are pretty simple also videos that you can watch! I have quite a few that i have signed up for! Synovate also sends products out for you to try out and send feedback to them about the product.
