When everything already seems so complicated, will you give up on love? HELP!

I have this dilemma or problem or complication right now regarding the love of my life. My boyfriend has 2 kids and the mother of his child is so paranoid and still longs for them to be together which of course was denied by my boyfriend because we're already together for 6 years now. They are not married, and she is just a selfish little woman who is using their children to get what she wants. Everything was already going so well, their setup was fine, since the school was near my boyfriend's, he is the one who takes care of them during the weekdays and goes home to the mother during the weekends. The mother is already working in the province but then what she recently did was take all of the kids' stuff from my boyfriend's house and left nothing, giving that impression that the kids are never gonna see their father again. It was devastating for my boyfriend and that he literally cried when he picked me up this morning. Now I feel somehow at fault when I know in reality the only thing I did was love my boyfriend, I did not steal him from the mother because they are not together anymore when we did. I feel that I am one of the reasons that she is doing that to my boyfriend, and it makes me cry too and feel responsible for what is happening. I just love my boyfriend so much and I dont know how to fill the emptiness that he feels for his children. It was just a very sad moment to see him cry, and I can't help him.. I don't know what to do.. Maybe anyone of you can share your thoughts.. Thank you so much..
