Do you find energy drinks really work?

No, I don't believe they do. I'm sure they give a boost but it probably works much the same as coffee. ie. it gives you a buzz when you're full of energy but then it doesn't last. I always find that those energy drinks with twist caps are impossible to open if you don't already have the strength so you need the drink just to open the bottle!

I personally think energy drinks can be dangerous!I had a Red Bull one morning and then went and did arobics,I was fine until I got home about an hour and a half later.All of a sudden my heart started racing,it was a really frightening experience.I mentioned it to my doctor the next time I saw him and he said I should have gone straight to the hospital as I had a bad reaction to it.Apparently this is quite common.So if you are going to drink it please be careful!

I think they are really only as effective as what most of them contain - caffeine. I drink coffee which does it for me. I dislike the taste of Red Bull and that sort of stuff. Try drinking it from a glass sometime and tell me what it looks most like!

yeah... i knw it works... during exams i would drink at least 2 red bulls's to stay up all nite
