Guys, it’s “ber” month, once again. Here in the Philippines , it is said that Christmastime begins in September, where all the succeeding months until December ends in “ber” . We are said to have the longest Christmas in the world, because as early as now, we are already preparing things for Christmas. Actually, even shows on TV are now about Christmas activities. Lantern selling and shopping for gifts are already some of the topic. Makes me happy. With the “ber” months, I now start to think of what to give as gifts to my godchildren’s gifts on Christmas and look forward to bazaars that will be put up for cheap items . The air is becoming cooler too already.

Simplyd: Yes. Right from September the heat comes down. However in Chennai it will be cool only during November and December. I am happy to note you are thinking about celebrating Christmas and gifts for children and others. Hope your daughter is studying very well in medicine. good day.

Yes, as early as now, i have to think of what gifts to give, so i can buy them at cheaper price on those flea markets. Prices goes higher as December comes near, so i better start now, if i see any flea market and have extra money.

Well, a little bit sad for me because I will turn a year older But hey, looking on the bright side of it, I hope I'll grow a year wiser too Yeah, they say that when "ber" months start, days are very fast and we'll just be surprised that another year had gone by already.

Yes, wheng, you are correct! I have noticed that too. I guess, i am a year older too comes December. And i feel a bit sad too, because no matter how much money you receive on December, it seems that it simply dries out fast.

I definitely have to agree, even though traditionally we normally don't start our Christmas mood and shopping til after Thansgiving. For me I start my shopping around this time of the year. Summer is over and now I look forward to my favorite holiday of the year. In my household this time of the year lifts are our moods, it is a beautiful time. Unfortunately down here in Florida the heat is still unbearable and we won't probably won't start to feel a cool down till October if we're lucky...

The weather may not be good, but it could not dampen our "christmas" spirit because the months of "ber" is slowly unfolding already.
