hello there. It is really filling up my inbox the discussions being posted by my friends here in mylot and it is notifying me in my email the reason that i need to delete all of it one by one because i am missing some very important emails. I really need to stop the notification because it consumes more data usage when i delete some messages from mylot. I have already done it with notifications but then mylot still send messages to me. thank you guys!!

I just marked them as a spam and mylot never bothered my e-mail address again. I mean I don't need notifications because I'd check the discussions started by my friends regularly. So yes marking them as a spam will save you some space in your e-mail address. You must try it because it really works for me. I hope I was helpful.

That is dangerous because many email providers actually collect data on sites which are habitually marked as 'spam' by their clients and those which are frequently so marked will be placed on a 'blacklist' which is circulated and used by many email providers. MyLot notifications are NOT 'spam' because you can specifically control what you do and do not receive from MyLot at any time and, by joining MyLot, you have agreed to receive certain notifications (which you can only opt out of by closing your account). So, in the first place, you are abusing the rules of your email provider by incorrectly marking messages which you have agreed to receive as 'spam' and, secondly, you may be doing MyLot a disservice by helping to prevent ANY messages from MyLot - to anyone, anywhere - from being delivered.

I check from page 1 to 10 of "my friend started discussion", mystarted discussion and responded discussion. I dont need notifications. @ owlwings I have no time to debate with you and there is no rule in the guidelines againts it.

yes sometimes notfications are too much and so your email is full of mylot notificaions and messags anyway if it would eba problem for you you set off all your notifications and you won't receive them.Naturally if you have a mobile connection or regular one where you depending from how much mb you download dialy or weekly probably it is highly recommended in this way you won't eat bandwith for notifications as well!!

Hi aaron fyzeon: It seems that you have already received your answer. However, I must ask you why do you want to do this. Mylot notifications help me to notice the discussions from my friends. I just put them on a folder on my email and I read them all chosing my favorite discussions. ALVARO

I have same dilemma with you. What I did I designate a certain folder on my email where notification will be designated same goes with other day to day email to received. I also my separate folder for discussion of mylot and responses I received from mylot. My inbox is cleaned I can see if I have prio email to check and reply. You can do this also.
