I am thinking about seeking a part-time job for a long time, like written translation etc which could be finished at home and submitted by e-mail. My dream is to be an interpreter one day. I know I am not compentent at this job right now so I'd like to start from a written translator. Do you have any kinds of part-time job? Or do you have any good suggestions to find a job?

Hmm I currently do not have any parttime job yet, but I'd love to get one when I have time for it ( as a web programmer and/or developper ). If I were looking for one, I'd go to some of these places: forums such as DigitalPoint to ask if there's anyone in need of a web programmer / employer and freelance websites such as Freelancer.com or Elance.com if you want to freelance.

If you are thinking about a part-time job, working as a translator or interpreter is a very good idea. There are a number of programs online which are hiring translators/interpreters. Take a look at languagealliance.com. That might give you some leads.

I don't have a part-time job. However, I am looking for one. I purchased a newspaper today in the hope of finding a part-time job. I have searched the internet and I haven't had any success at finding anything there. So now I am furthering my search to the outside world. I really hope you are blessed in finding the part-time job you are hoping for.

I have a job where I can write assignments for clients. I do a lot on health, traveling, weddings and such.
Its a challange as you cannot have the same sentence as someone else had written on the internet. If you did it would show up as plagerism even though there is no way to tell until you have it proofed.
So to move words around and figure out what I am doing is sometimes a real brain teaser.
I wrote on skewers once. Only thing I ever considered skewers was putting on pieces of meat and vegetables to make kabobs.
After researching and writing the article, I learned a lot about how skewers were used.
So actually if you take a article you think you know something about and do research, you wind up learning a lot more!
Happy mylotting and WELCOME!

Hi sunil, welcome to mylot. I think this site itself is good enough for you to earn that extra you are looking for in your part time. Infact I was also looking for some online / offline two-three hours that would give me some additional income, other than my full time job. But I am enjoying my lot and am sure i can do better here...
