Hi tutor! I think Rafi is right. This movie was considered the best horror movie during its heydays. I'm not sure if the Exorcist we watched are similar, but the version I watched was indeed creepy. The turning of the head was really awfully creepy. But for me, it wasn't the best horror movie that I've watched. I've watched a lot of horror movies and so far, the best I've seen is Japan's The Ring. I have also watched Insidious that Rafi was recommending. It had a lot of creepy moments. I screamed at once scene and I had to cover my eyes at one scene even though nothing really happened at that scene. But it was a good movie.

Yup. I've watched it a few days ago. I don't think I scared anyone from my scream. I was inside my room and my room is in the second floor so I wasn't that heard much.

yeah..they always use that as a reference horror..movie... did u actually watched The Exorcist when it first came out?? that is what the feeling and experience critics ussually refers to when they said "best horro movie since bla bla.. becuase when it first came out..it was shocking and unlike vampire movies or etc..it not as ghoulishly supernatural ..it is more to something happening in your own home..to someone u know..ur a child..etc.. so ..the sensation of fear is left in the audience mind back then was very pronounced... same like if someone watched Superman ..(chris reeve) for hte first at that time 1977.. it was like the most awesome thing ever..and the special fx is perfect..!!! but yeah..try see it today..the special fx ..makes sesame street looks sophisticated.. so usually Exorcist is the Reference movie for comparison to somekind of haunted house or haunted person movie..u know..like Poltergeist.. anyway..just for your info.. most critics..all agree.."INSIDIOUS is the most scariest movie since The exorcist"(u can find it any Insidious movie responses in newspaper ,video review etc..)* so i guess thers a new benchmark..for this kinda horror sub gnere(haunting type)-
