Do you think unemployment leads to increase in population. In my view unemployment will increase to increase in population. Those person who are busy with his job or business are mostly out of town and such person have less number of children. there are employees who budget their life and cause to particular number of children. There are those people who are unemployed and illiterate have spend majority time within home and they don't even think about future and they will beg without any shame for money by showing their children. I want to ask that if one cant afford himself why do they marry.

I think it's the government why the population keeps growing. If the government of a certain country is strict in terms of population they can control it and limit the children to one. China for example no matter how huge their population is, statistics shows that their population rate is getting lower that it will reach it's peek in 2030 (around 1.5Billion) then starts to decrease. Looking at japan right now the population rate of japan is negative it simply means that their population isn't growing and continue to decrease. It's the government why population increases/decreases.

Do you want a semi-totalitarian rule my friend, where the government have control over the private lives of their people. It may be applicable to other countries but I think in our country it's not yet time for our people to understand. There may be some laws to be revised or updated before the government can convinced and understand that it's for the good of our country and it's people.

I don't think so.
how can they afford to have many kids when they don't have a job to sustain their daily living.
It just happen that, this world is already over populated and we can't do anything to stop the population growth since everyday couples get marry and everyday women out there get pregnant.
have a good day

Do not think I do not agree with the need to support children. Certainly everyone should consider the seriousness of having children. To add another thought though anyone these days anywhere can loose their ability to maintain a living standard and the world is over stressed. Should life not be brought into the world because of the hardships or risks involved? That I think is a difficult question.

Some of them maybe thinking of government aids, some of them just doing nothing waiting for the other spouse to work, and the main reason I just don't know yet....I am looking at your discussion to find out.

We may say it could be a factor too. Because being unemployed, the tendency is most them preferred to stay in their homes. Without nothing to do or any entertainment to busy their minds on their idle time will most probably result to having more kids. And most of them are either unemployed or poor.

Unemployment and poverty leads to an increase of population in a certain country. Some families are just not well educated by the government in using family planning, the government should be providing aid to this kind of problems. I have watched many documentaries about poverty and unemployment in our country, the families were asked why do they have to many children but they can't even afford to send them to school, provide proper nutrition, a proper home etc. They will just answer it was an accident to have 12 children, and if asked why aren't you working? they will answer, i only attended grade 1, that's why i can't find a suitable job for my family. And it's true that most successful people have less children. These families needs enlightenment or education on family planning even if they did not finish their school, only a proper and simple understanding to have a good life. So the government must do something about this.

I don't agry with you because this is not reason of increasing population , if you think this way , so each beggar of India will have more children and labor class people a swell.Main reason is people of India have a mind set that they thing this way to sustain there self. People of India don't have that much awareness of this.

Poverty results to rampant mortality cases in our country. I also believed that other countries are striving for poverty too.
It is very true that people in remote places have many children because they tend to stay home and make children while those people who have business, there is no time for each other. Those people who could provide good food, shelter and everything have few children than those on rural places.
Every country is finding it's way to reduce poverty. But not getting married because you can't afford to have family is not the reason to reduce poverty. Government should proposed a project to lessen if not totally eradicate poverty.

I think one has little to do with the other. The numbers or stats might change but not sure one affects the other that much. The measure of unemployment is directly related to supply and demand and is an economic issue. Population is a product of social life and although the economy does have a bearing on this social behaviour, it is difficult to say if work has a lot to do with the creation of families. Not saying here what is the smart thing to do just saying human produce offspring in all kinds of conditions.
