We are so fond of reading a lot of books and magazines yet we forget or ignore reading the Bible which is the most important and favorable company in our daily lives.

What you have stated is true. People nowadays keep on asking where is God when you needed the most? or why is God doing this to us? or God, why me?... They keep on asking questions that the answers are simply written in the Bible. If they only read the Bible then they know that God is in us and we siply keep on resisting His presence; God has a purpose for everything and God wants us to learn lessons for yus to grow and build our character. If you think that reading the Bible is boring then you can keep flashcards with Bible verses and memorize it cause that's what I do aside from attending, hearing and participating in the Eucharistic Celebration almost everyday (my goal is never to miss but there are circumstances we don't have contro of).

I have read my bible for two times already from the Old Testament to New Testament . But even then, i still do read a verse or two at night, after i have said my night prayer. Somehow, it keeps me guided on things about our lives. Though, i now read the New Testament only, and some books of the old testament like Isiah and psalms.

I haven't read the whole bible yet honestly. I just read a verse or two everyday. You're are right, by reading the bible it keeps us guided and it seems our problems are given answers.

Daily. I always get my daily strength from reading my Bible and meditating on the words.

I am happy to hear that. Yes, I believe that the Bible really guides us. It gives us strength when we are weak and it make us happy when we are sad.

I strive to read the Bible every single day, but sometimes I let other things push it out of my day, and on those days I feel I have really missed out by not putting God's Word first.

I am like that too. I felt guilty whenever I failed to have the Word of God first than anything else. I guess when it was already put in your system, you felt there's lacking and you seemed unfulfilled throughout the day if you missed it. Thanks!

I read the bible every morning after taking my bath . It has become a habit . Thereafter I pray to Jesus . I have read the New Testament twice . I just started reading the Old Testament . Now reading Numbers . It gives me immense satisfaction and peace of mind to read the Bible . I was a Hindu but accepted Jesus Christ as my lord in 2008 . Since then Bible has been my guiding spirit . Praise the lord !

Wow! Praise the Lord! It was great of you to accept Jesus in your life as your Lord after being converted from Hinduism and I am glad you find satisfaction and peace of mind by reading the Bible. Keep the faith. God bless always.

Now I read the Bible 2 times normally but if I feel lonely or scared or problematic I read it more than twice a day. I guess the answer to all our problems and questions are there in the Bible. It's good that you find time to read the Bible. God will be very please with you!

That laziness to read Bible is the cunning activity of Satan.Let's win him in the name of God and let's be ready to listen to his words always by reading Bible:)

Hi rohini! I believe it's true. Satan will always find ways to keep us away from having communication with God. So let's combat laziness, let's combat satan. God bless us all!

I try to read the bible every day. But sometimes it happens that I am only able to read the bible three to four times a week.

At least you were able to read the Bible than not. That is very much already for me. What's important is we pray everyday and we remember always God's words in our daily activity so that we will not go astray. Thanks!

I try to read one chapter a day at the minimum, but most days I read more. I read about 30 pages a week so that I can complete reading the whole Bible in one year. On January the first I start reading Genesis chapter one and by December thirty-first I try to have finished reading the whole Bible and then start again the next year.

Hi there johnpillai! It's good that you first read the Bible before making money on net. I guess it's the first thing to do before doing anything. To God be the glory.

I am really guilty about this. I think I last read the bible when a tsunami hit Japan. I was really curious about getting to read the Revelation and see if there's something written about tsunamis as a form of world destruction.

I've read it in the bible I just can't recall what particular verse it was. But we don't need another tsunami before we act and repent. It's good to be always prepared for God's coming. We should be good all the time for God's glory. AMEN! Thanks staria!
