If you're gone for a long time do they take it all away? I was pretty close to $10 but I haven't logged in for over a year. I really hope it's not gone and it's just hiding somewhere. Yeah, I know it's just $10 but I put a lot of work into that $10. That's the hardest I've ever worked for $10 in my entire life. I mean yeah it was pretty fun doing some of the discussions but it was so time consuming. I thought I would be able to just get back on here and get my $10 finally... But no! Apparently not.

As per the Terms of Service we agreed to when we signed up, it does say that if we do not log in for 90 or more days are earnings get zero out. It is important for all members to remember this because anything there after so long of not logging they do wipe out the earnings.
If every you are away again, you do not have to participate, so as long as you log in once before your 90 days, you earnings will remain in your account.
Now that you have returned you should be able to accumulate them easily once again.
Welcome back to myLot.

Hey, I know we're supposed to read and agree to the terms and conditions of the site... But who actually ever reads it? Probably very few people. It's definitely a smart thing to do though.

Sadly the earnings zero out when we don't get to log in for 3 months. I have also just recently got back to my lot. and I have 15 dollars on my old account. Sadly, I have to start from nothing again... but its a lesson, its alright. What is important is we are back.

It is really hard for a mylot member to get the first $10 payment here. I spent more than six month to get the first payment.
At the beginning period, you do not have enough friends here in mylot, so many of your topics may have no responses for a long time. The only way for your to make money is to make comments in other people's topic. Searching an interesting topic takes a lot of time.
But after you get enough friends, things become easier and easier. Your friends will put comments in your topic, and you can reflect on the comment and that help you earn money in a short time.
Now I can get more than $5 per month. If I have enough spare time, i think i can make more.

Take all your money here away? If mylot does in this way, it will soon lose its reputation and could not survive for a long time. So you don't need to worry about the safety of your money here at all. In my view, if earning money is your only goal, mylot is obviously not an ideal place for you. In reality, you may earn 10 USD in one or two hours, but in mylot earning 10 USD in such a short time is quite hard. Even if you could do it, such "high" efficiency is unsustainable. So why not participating in discussion with a relaxed mind?

Too bad.. It is already stated in the FAQ - http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#21
I haven’t posted anything on myLot for several months. I logged into my account today and my earnings are missing what happened to them?
Our terms of use state that if you don’t login to your account at least once over a 90 day/3 month consecutive period of time your earnings are forfeited. Please remember to login at least once every 90 days. You don’t need to post any new discussions or respond to discussions, you just need to login to your account so that we know your account has not gone idle.
Now because you are already back to myLot, you can start to earn again. Just make sure to log in at least once every 90 days..
It is sad to lose about $10, but it can't be helped, since we all are bounded with myLot's Terms of Use..
I guess, just start it again, and be more careful in the future

Ouch I'm sory for you, I didn't know about this either.
However, knowing this I'll at least login every day to make sure my earnings are kept also when I have few time to work on myLot ( however I was planning already to be active every day so ).
But it's really a waste if you were so close to cashing out! Personally I got to admit that I haven't fully read all FAQ's and I think more did not fully read all FAQ's, but being active at the website seems to be a vital part for earning at myLot!

You should knew that you will lose all your money if you do not log in for 90 days in a stretch. It is very bad luck from your part that you were not aware of that terms of mylot. It is also sad that your hard earned money had lost due to the inactivity.
But I am sure you can work more hard to achieve that amount in less time. That is the spirit of mylotters

Ouch ... what a bad luck I think.
Lotters who post before me are right, there's some punishment to member who not activate their member for long time.
If you so busy so you can't spend your time into discussion matter, why don't you try make money by searching. You can't get much but at least you not get any problem like this. What do you think ...?
Welcome back and Happy lotters
