Bubba

Bubba is my nephew Kolt's Kolt's wife's dog. He is a 10 month old puppy. When they got him I thought they said he was pure breed NewFoundland. I thought they got him from a breeder,too. I even saw photo's of him and really thought he was for awhile! As Bubba started growing he didn't look like a NewFoundland. At least not a pure bred! I was still clueless he was a mix and he came from the Humane Society! Well I met Bubba over the weekend and this is how I found all this out! His half Newfoundland and half Black Lab. He is young and it is not trained like the other dog,Laya,who is a Lab/Plott hound cross. Anyway he gets along with Laya and the baby,Lillie,who is also 10 months old. Boy do I feel foolish not figured out Bubba was not a pure bred! Has this ever happened to anyone else?

It doesn't matter he's not a purebred Newfoundland. As long as he's a healthy and well behaved dog, there is no reason to be sorry Bubba was adopted from the shelter.
He looks he gets along well with the child and Lillie doesn't look scared because of Bubba. On the contrary!
You don't need to feel foolish because you didn't figure out Bubba wasn't a purebred dog. How were you supposed to know about him if you only saw his pictures. Many dogs look like a particular breed when they are little but when they grow up, they don't look like the same breed anymore.

Thanks for the response inu! That has made me feel better! Bubba is a nice dog! He gets along with everyone and of course my neice Lillie! I am glad he was adopted from a shelter and I know he has a forever home with my nephew and his family! He is still a puppy and needs to work on a few manners! Bubba will and I hope to see him and my neice again soon!

Yes Bubba is a buig dog. He is 10 months and he is still growing! Lillie is currently also 10 months! They get along great! I met Bubba and he is a nice dog! Still a puppy and still needs to learn to listen better! Bubba will!
