Can it be truth, $50 for brand new Ipad?

I check on ebay lately, simply browsing the website looking for some good deals, and I bump into a couple of ads for bidding. They all selling ipad start with the price of $50, some even with less than this price. That is ultra cheap for an Ipad device, don't you think? And they claim to be brand new, never used before. That just too good to be truth, and I just have this suspicious feeling about it. Would you believe such ad? I won't, I just curious what profit would they make from it, if the market price for a regular ipad is around $500?

Well, it could be. You need to read the full listing and check it's really an ipad and not a case or something for one and check it's not broken. It's also likely it's just a start price and over a few days it will be nearer it's full value with new bids. If it's a 'Buy It Now' price I'd likely avoid it as it's probably a scam or stolen. Be careful on ebay!

It's probably an incentive to get people to start bidding, then it will go back up to the usual $500 once people start bidding for it.

If it sounds to good to be true it usually is. If it is new and the real thing, the seller probably has a reserve of close to $500. You won't get it for much less than it's worth.

it looks unreal but i guess that it is the start price for bidding ??? ebay has so many cheap offers but the price you mentioned looks imaginative... how many days left for bidding?
