lagging on mylot

i hate the lag on mylot, especially when posting new comments. Just now, when i wanted to post a comment, mylot lagged for about a minute or two. Being impatient, as i am, i refreshed the page, hoping that mylot would be smart enough to keep what i had writtn in the text box, but sadly... it wasn't. al the time i spent crafting my masterpiece dissipated. What a waste of time. At least it only happens sometimes. anyways, has this lag ever happened to any of you or is mylot laggy when you are using it?

I hate it when Mylot starts lagging and every page takes like 5 minutes just to load up! I wrote such long comments then the pages doesn't load, I refresh it and the comment isn't there. For me, Mylot is really slow during the day time like in the afternoon or so. Now I'm usually on at night and it's much faster, everything loads properly. Might be too much traffic on Mylot during that time.

There are times that I experienced that as well. I'm not sure if it is the site or my internet connection. I really can't concentrate when that happens so I checked other sites first. I think last Sunday I experienced that the page is too slow to load but it has been fixed already.

If I realise the Lagmonster is about,I'll try and copy/paste the discussion in case it disappears..I don't always think of this,though,so have had to rewrite a response in the past a few times..frustrating..

That has happened to me a lot before. So what I do now is that before I hit "post response" I copy the things I've written (Ctrl A, then Ctrl C). So that in case there is a lag, and my piece was not posted, I go to the discussion again and post my comment (Ctrl V). A bit tedious, but, at least I could save discussions that I've thought about.

Yes, it does happen to me a lot of times too before. Good thing that I have the copy and paste feature now in myLot. I usually copy what I typed in the boxes before sending or posting the response. This way I can still paste it if myLot failed to send or post my response. Before I had the copy and paste feature, I usually get frustrated that all the things I typed were already gone with the failure to load of the page. My solution for that back then was to copy what I have typed first then paste it on a separate word processing file. If myLot failed to post my response, I just re-typed my comments back to the box. Just a hassle to re-type but at least my ideas and thoughts were preserved and ready to be typed so that I won't forget them.

Hmm I'm experiencing this lag as well, just 2 days after I joined. I guess I have been too active on this website, servers could no longer handle it!
But yeah, jokes aside, I noticed quite some lag today as well. Pages sometimes take ages to load at myLot just now ( one page is already loading for like a few minutes now ... ), what do we do now...?! ;)
