How content are you?...

I am an old man and lead free and easy life now,so if I differ with you on some matters,please take me as you find me.Imho,not that your friend's Mum is a greedy moose,but that she is a person who has had the life experience.She knows what hardship life is.But then,perhaps your friend is a person that stretches money to keep whthin a budget at other times except this time.

I'm feeling pretty good but there is that nagging feeling of there being much ahead, I can't wait but at same time I'm anxious it may mean having to cut old ties, very different lifestyle changes (possibly moving out of country), etc , I've made leaps forward from just this small town girl w head in clouds but thinking back it seems so minute to how much I have to learn in life. Sometimes I want to hurry it up lol.

Right now... I'm just browsing the net.. I can't say that I'm happy or sad... It's just the usual feeling that I have... But I can say that I feel bored recently, that's the reason I'm surfing the net right now... to kill boredom.

I think I am quite satisfied with your my current situation because I am doing this new job where I am having really some new experiences and some new learning for me too. All I wish now is to spend my time enjoying the new experiences and also doing good for the others.

Hello Vivamir, I am satisfied with the life but i feel i am a bit wrong when i say that i am fully satisfied because by saying this i have closed doors for the betterment. Once a person is dissatisfied he will surely strive to get better. I think your friend's mother is not greedy she wants her son to do some better in his life.May be her way is wrong but the intention is right.

Finances is a big problem for a lot of people these days so stressing over it should be positive I think. Everyone needs to readjust and change is not always easy. To be content I think is important. For me it depends on the day and the moment I am in. I can be both content and on the edge and try to find some balance. Yes, it can always be better so I want to achieve that but stay out of the dumps as much as possible because I have found that place is not very productive.

I am thankful for my life the way it is. I'm sure alot of people would not be satified if theirs was like mine but some people are never satisfied. Your friend's mother should be ashamed of herself for doing him that way.She should have done better herself w/managing what she had a long time ago & not be depending on him for money to start with.

hi dear viamir, I know you are battling right now with your own situations, from the posts I read from you. So I am a little hesitant right here answering this interesting discussion. After a really long term tricky situation in my life has cleared up some months ago I am really really content. I have always been a bit of a doom and gloom person in these almost 50 years I am on that planet now but right now with that situation having cleared up I can say I enjoy life for the first time. Each day is like a gift box wrapped in nice paper with a big bow on it so its fun to open the gift box called, another day, and see what is inside. There are still some obstacles coming along here and there but I can say I am a very happy and content person.

hi:) I am not that content in my financial status right now, but in general I'm pretty much content,well of course having some small problems are just fine.About your friend, perhaps she needs to explain to her mom that she needs to spend wisely because that's all she can give to her, especially now it's hard to earn money, and if you earned it's not wise to spend it all because you still need to save for emergency. I hope her mother will understand that. G'day friend!

I am so not happy with my situation at this current moment. Sometimes I just wish I can run away but I know I have my 2 beautiful kids to take care of. So instead I just keep a positive attitude and convince myself that everything will be alright.

well i dont mean to vent or complain or anything but since you asked...i am not happy with my life right now. thats why im on this site working my butt off every single day trying to make a better life for me and my family. dont get me wrong i know money will not be what makes my life content but i know it takes money to get where i want to go. im still young so i have time to work and make things better. but i am just not a very patient person
