My friend has a brother in a nursing home who left us with about 15 cases of comic books. Some of these comics are over 40 years old! They are all wrapped in plastic and in good condition. We have DC Comics and Marvel comics. All of the X-men, fantastic Four, Spiderman and more. We heard that they are worth some money but we don't know where to start. Can anyone help us out. We have them in storage and we need to move them pretty fast. We don't want anyone to steal them. I have gotten some much good info on myLot that I am turning to you all for help.
Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you need to find a Comic Collection magazine, and look up and get experienced with what you have. Do not take these to someone who Specializes in Comics without being aware first of what you might have. They might only offer you $100 for the whole collection knowing you have one worth $1000 or more. Sounds like this is worth looking into, and then deciding from there what you need to do.
Then if you find out you have some Good ones, and wanted to sell them, there is places like Ebay, Craigslist, etc. to help you earn some Extra $$ from these.

I've never really liked comics. Don't know why, I prefer books or movies :-)
