So one morning I started rummaging through my closet which I haven't touched in like ages. At the very back behind the rack of old clothes, I found a whole bunch of stuffed animals which have been there for years.
I realized that they were my childhood toys and I found my most treasured one as a kid which was my teddy bear with my star sign. My cousin gave it to me and I treasured it! I decided to take them all out and put them on my study shelf as decoration so I can admire them every time I study! =)
Do you guys keep any special toys for all these years?
Cheers!

The others were Power Rangers toys too.
Now for I am 46 years old it Besty Beaslie Doll and Weeble Wobbles. I still have the Ambulance and two weeble wobbles toys.
Thanks and have a great day
Sincerely eileen

Same here! I never played with barbie dolls and baby dolls when I was a kid. I liked stuffed animals and figurines like Pokemon. My Mum tried to persuade me to play with barbie dolls but I never touched them. I remember power rangers! =)
Thanks for sharing!

I have my original teddy bear and although he is worn and ragged, I do still appreciate him. I also have some original Barbie dolls that my mom gave me and they are stored away to pass on to my daughters as well. I might be able to give one or two to my oldest right now, but I am not sure that she will appreciate them like I will.

It's very special when you pass your loved toy from your childhood and pass it to your children. Though, with all the technology and things pretty much being electronic, your dolls will have some competition. But it's still special to keep an old special toy. =)

I am decorating my bedroom at the moment, and to do that I have had to empty everything out of it. During the course of the decorating, I have found many things that I haven't even looked at since I was a young child. Part of me really doesn't want to have to throw them away but, at the same time, I know that I have to do that in order to to be able to carry on with the rest of my life and make my bedroom tidier for the things that I will need in the future. It's nice to be able to look back, but at the same time you also have to be prepared to let go of things that once meant so much to you.

Well I am 60 now, I was born at the very end of 1950; in 1951 London hosted the Festival of Britain and my parents took me as a small baby to stay with my aunt and uncle and to visit the festival. They bought me a teddy , Old Ted, my 15 year old son still has Old Ted in his bed every night. Poor Ted is very battered now, he is bald after years of hugs and love from me, my 5 children and 10 grandchildren, he has lost his growl and he has a big red mark on his tummy were my daughter left a felt tip pen on him years ago!! Old Ted is 60 now like me, but he is still well loved!!
