It is a problem for me.
I want to learn French, but I do not know to begin.
First I try to find some FEKOs, after seeing them I find French is too hard for me learn by myself now. But I do not have time to take some courses on it.
It is said that you can learn almost everything on net now, but net resources is not as rich as that in a real world.
Can you give me some help?

When I was a kid, i wanted to learn spanish. I started listening to spanish pop songs by nsync and christina aguilera. it helped because i could sing to it. eventually, i was able to translate the lyrics. i bought a dictionary too. when i reached college, i had the chance to take up basic spanish. it helped because there was a professr guiding me. :) try those steps and little by little you'll learn french. of course, you need to practice it to be more fluent.

I think songs are a good way to learn a new language.
I know French songs are beautiful, but as I can not catch their meanings, I may lost my interests with them soon. I have been used a dictionary to look up new words which I have never seen before, but the changes of the words make me feel confused, and as i do not know enough grammar, sometimes I can not find them in a dictionary.

One thing in life is that beleive that u can overcome your fears, never think towards the direction of seeing yourself as a failure or someone who can never ever set goals, priorities, and achieve your aims. A major obstacle you need to overcome is fear because it will never ever take you anywhere in life. However for you learning french, do not see it as an impossible task, but rather see it as a responsibility that you are up to the task of acheiving because it will do you more good by learning french, therefore upgrading the medula to expand in advancing initiatives and ideas. Look for individuals who are very sound in that language because learning from individuals is of great priviledge to you than the internet why? This is because you can ask questions and get immediate answers and you can ask questions in areas that is not clear to you. Also, the internet, you need to make it your guardian because the world is now turning into a global village. So take it as an exploits of acheiving and learning this language.

Hmm. French is a hard language to learn. I have studied French in school so I can understand how difficult it is.
When you want to learn a new language, you need to try and understand their speech. Maybe just learn a word or two each day. For example, I watch a lot of Japanese shows. And I have picked up a lot of Japanese words and can even form full sentences eventhough I never actually studied the language. When you get used to hearing people speak a language, sooner or later, you will find that you understand what they're saying and can guess their meaning eventhough you've never heard of half the words they used in their conversation.
Also, it is harder to learn new languages the older you are. So just hang in there and do your best!

The best thing to do if you have the chance to do so is simply to go to the country and try to immerse yourself into the lifestyle and the language. The thing is, a lot of people don't have the time or the money to do this, so don't worry if you don't feel as though you can. You can buy CDs or DVDs which will help you to learn the language, and these can be very good if you just want to grasp the basics of the language. You can buy books and films which are in the language that you're trying to learn, which would probably help a lot as well if you were wanting to learn it.

You'd better not decide to learn a new language easily unless you have a real need or strong interest. In order to learn a language well, you need to spend at least several hours per day practicing this language. But in reality it's quite hard for many people to do it if this language is not related to their work or study. It's true that you could find a lot of learning materials on Internet. But as a beginner, it's necessary for you to take a course so that you could build a good foundation, which you may feel very helpful in the process of further study.

Why do you want to learn French? I am currently learning french. I don't think you can learn everything on the net. Moreover, somwtimes there could be inaccuracy of info on the net. I think for a new beginner, it might be better to take classes. After that, I think it would be easier to learn on your own.
