they have the same Basic Salary offer, but the benefits differ... Company 1 allowance of 6000 - company is near home - company reported a loss last year - smaller company - no signs of good growth for career - no retirement benefits - 24 sick leaves, not convertible to cash Company 2 allowance of 3500 - company is about 1 hour drive - company is very large, has big growth potential - company provides good training - they have education assistance (reimbursement) - company has retirement benefits - known company that they have good professionals working for them - sick leaves are 30 days a year half of which is convertible to cash so actually it is quite obvious that company 2 is better in the long run, right? would you agree, would you think that the nearness to home is a big factor? when you decide to take an offer, do you only rely on the money being offered or... do you also look at the possibilities of career growth, environment, etc...

company 2 is way better. Self-improvement is way better. The possibility of professional growth and development is rather enticing than money matter. An environment close to home is essential but looking at the aspect of long-term goal, company 2 is indeed a better option.

If I have to choose one from it, I will definitely choose the first one because it is the world of money now, so. I think you will also follow first one if you need money.

thank you for your honest feedback. :D i am seriously considering it but then the money comes now every month by additional 2K in this company, i am not assured they will provide a salary increase, whereas the other will have about 8% salary increase every year, and a quarterly bonus.

i choose company 2. although it takes an hour drive, i still prefer a company with better benefits that you can get staying or working with them in long term.

Definitely company 2 However it depends, are you working to earn money, or do you have enough money and you just working to pass time. If it for money then I would consider company 2 as it has growth opportunities which will help me grow in future increasing my salary, giving me a better position. Whats the use of working in a company that near your house even though you are getting a better allowance, but how long would you survive in that same salary. Also the plus points like the good training, educations, convertible leaves into cash makes company 2 with no doubt the company i'd like to work for.
