Normally a pure breed Shih Tzu with PCCI papers around 2-3months old is P10,000-12,000. but since the dog your referring to is not of pure breed and has no PCCI papers i guess the price is right but it doesnt harm if you can still haggle a lower price around P6000-P5500. Btw pls ask if the dog has already given vaccines?

Hi Jacruz! I don't have any idea about dog prices, too. The last time I heard about Shih Tzu price was about 3K and that was a few years ago. It's been my long time desire to have a Shih Tzu dog, ever since I saw one back in 2003. I was still a student then and I couldn't afford an expensive dog like that. Until now, I still think it would be impractical to get an expensive dog. Not just because of the expensive buying price but also because it's a high maintenance dog, which means you'll be spending a lot of money in taking care of it. Anyway, if you can afford it as well as the maintenance, then go for it!

I think 6,300 is quite overpriced for a crossbreed shih tzu. 5,900 up to 6,000 price reasonable enough.

Well where I live a Shih Tzu ranges anywhere from $200-$2000. It really just depends on where you get them from and how much the owner decides to sale them for. I think that with this dog being a mixed breed it is over priced. You could adopt the same type of dog for under $100
