Time flies so fast. Another weekend is coming and no work again. Time for family bonding and leisure but it's also our time to do household chores. Wow, our daily life is just a cycle. There is a routine. From Mondays to Fridays, what I do is go to the office and then go home. Is that a kind of monotonous activity? Sometimes I feel bored with this set-up. We have no choice but to follow this routine. If we don't work we can not eat. My fellow mylotters do you feel what I feel ?

pahak627 do u some times go to the church and thank God for that best you are living??? let me tell you my friend..i work with edible oil refineries but let tel you an employee is not supposed to rest Monday to Saturday 24/7 and people have got used to the conditions so to you i think going to the office is some how better than working in noisy, accidental places of work as most of pple do...n way it puts food on our table so we both have to endure. thank you brother

I go to church and I thank God for all the things that He had done for me and my family. I also talk to Him before going to sleep and every morning after waking up. However, sometimes I forget Him. Thanks edbuex for response it somewhat made me realize something that I have to love my work as it bring food to our table.

Hi, pahak627. It is the weekend now and I am trying to enjoy myself as much as possible. During the weekdays, I have to be up by at least five in the mornings so that I can get prepared to dress my two children for school. I am very busy right now and I like being busy because it keeps my mind from wandering off. Your activity is very understandable, because you have to work so that you can have a place to stay, and food to eat. This is typically common within the average life span of an family.

Yes, it's just that I'm tired, I don't know if this is the right term, working for the family. Before I married, I dreamed of being a plain housewife only just to care for my children but I haven't done it for the duration of my married life. You know when I have time to visit my children who are in Manila, I do the chores for them, cook their food and sometimes wash their clothes. But my eldest son will not allow me to wash the clothes. I feel satisfied caring them though they are already grown-ups.

Yeah, I guess that's our choice. We have to have a stable income in order to put food on our tables for our family. We have to endure the boredom of having to work and do the routine over and over again.

Yes, it is a routine. Aside from going to work everyday, there is also the routine of driving the kids to their after school activities everyday. Sometimes that's why I appreciate the seasons, as the routine doesn't last for more than a fourth of a year. But I love routines!

That's great, glad that you don't feel what I feel. I could not experience that as I have so much to think about.

Well, I spend my weekend with my daughter. Watching movies and going to the salon sometimes and most of the time, we only stayed at home. Very rarely, I attend bible sharing.

Yes my life can get monotonous at times. However I try to introduce something new every once in a while while I still do the necessary things. We always have to work and if we ever stop working we die. That is what life is all about but it sometimes does get annoying.

Try to walk with your family around and not only be at home. Enjoy the most of that time. Play with your children, if you have. At night you can share a little more love with you husband. Hang out a little more with your friends, without getting drunk to hold an hangover on the next day. Go shopping with them sometimes or go to the movies. Enjoy your life because life is short and nobody will enjoy it for you. :)
