The Proposal

The other night I watched a TV reality program with contestants who have a foreigner boyfriend.Each contestant was asked by the TV host how she had met her boyfriend.In the same manner, the boyfriend was also asked to say something to his girlfriend. The audience felt giddy over the love stories of the contestants. One of them who met her boyfriend in the same ship where she is working, was too surprised when her Peruvian boyfriend was asked to say something to his girlfriend, slowly came forward to the center stage while sweetly sharing his love and adoration to his girlfriend and got something from his pocket and right there in front of everybody and in a live TV show had made his proposal,asking his girl to marry him. Everybody was stunned, especially the TV hosts, the studio audience and televiewers because it was the first time for them to see such a very romantic engagement proposal. The girl was crying while she was nodding and saying her yes to the guy...Wish I could have also a taste of a romantic engagement proposal.

I have been in relationship for four years now and we are on a stage of planning to get married. But my guy does not yet ask me formally or he did not propose yet. I want a proposal that would surprise me that is unexpected to happen. I think I want the proposal maybe in the beach area and night time its just feel romantic when at night.

hi dear Jelminrie, my husband didnt really propose to me. He had very romantic plans I think of proposing but things turned out totally different. We mat through the internet and on my second visit to him, I offered to do the dishes Sunday after lunch so he would not be in such a mess in the kitchen and I scrubbed a well used frying pan and asked him whats old and burnt in and what could be new here, he said Honey dont bother, wait a moment. Disappeared into the living room, came back with a brand new non stick frying pan even with a glass lid to it. He put it on the table and simply said, we will use this one once we are married. LOL

well, why do you need strangers to tell you reasons why you wouldn't say yes right away? this raises a red flag immediately. do you want to marry this guy? personally, i don't have a "dream marriage proposal" so i know i am much different from other women. i don't enjoy thinking or dreaming about the proposal. i only really care about the stuff that comes AFTER it. i mean, personally again, i just would be okay with getting married just the two of us, somewhere far away. sounds heavenly to me. as for getting proposed to, idk, thats the guys job. i don't really care what happens, as long as we get married! basically he could just throw a ring box at me and say "let's get married" and i'd be like "cool" i know i wanna marry this guy, we have a baby together & he's my soulmate. so if he asked me, i obviously would say heeeell yessss. what's your dream marriage proposal? and what's the problem with getting proposed to by this man, ie, what are his flaws that discourage you?
