I am a very experienced traveler and I have traveled to more than fifty different countries. I was attacked on a lonely beach in the Maldives and yet that is usually a safe destination. I visited Israel which can have its dangers but I stayed totally safe. Earlier this year I traveled to Colombia and many people think that whole of that country is dangerous. I know that many areas of it are completely safe. Cartagena De Indias is considered 100% safe but I read warnings about Santa Marta. I stayed safe in both of those. I think war torn countries are not safe to visit. I know that a country that has very much trouble with terrorists it worth staying away from. I would not visit Iraq, Pakistan or Afghanistan. I would delay a visit to a place that had an unstable time like an election. I went to Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia in 2003 and had an excellent time. I went after the war had ended.

Hello! Travel is a good type relaxation to do. Bored to stay home, your work, travel is the best solution. Safety is the first things you should know to visit once place especially when you plan to travel out of your country where you meet another culture, languages, climates and other difference compare to your own. For me i guess there is no safe place to visit. I believe bad people is everywhere in the world. For me it's a matter of timing. The important things you should know before you travel research first the area, place you want to visit. The hotels, climate, transportation, languages they speak and most of all the crime rate for that country. Know also their beliefs, culture, the do's and don't to do. If you are first time to visit to that country, try to have a package tour because i believe that you feel safe if you belong to the tour, wherein tour guide is there to help you or something you can ask.
