i have just come from a travel to one of the tourist's spots here in our country Coron, Palawan. i enjoyed it very much. The itinerary for three days was very rich and relaxing. On the first day, we were ushered to the Maquinit Hot Spring where we dipped in a warm pool . The water I think is coming from an undiscovered volcano. I enjoyed the warm dipped because it relaxed my body pains. The pools of warm sulfuric water was continuously flowing not really knowing where the warm water is coming from.:-) But I enjoyed . The next day trip was the visit to Siete Pecados. There, I enjoyed snorkelling to watch the beauty and wonder of Marine Life. It was full of fun and excitement seeing the beauty of the coral reefs with its different sizes and hues, the different schools of rock fishes.Oh I loved watching and trying to catch them but they were so quick .:-) Then the trip to Kayangan Lake that is located in the midst of the mountain. One has to climbed a 720 steps and go down the same distance going to the other side of the mountain to be able to reach the beautiful and magnificent Kayangan Lake . There is an underground cave within the lake. Only those who are more adventurous go and I did try to go there. :-) Then the Twin Lagoon, the Skeleton Ship wreckage watching, etc. All these was about the beauty of nature and the wonder of God's creation. It's always good to have a break from our usual routine to appreciate the richness of nature around us. I am glad I made that decision.:-)

When one travels,he/ she really must have more than enough budget for it. That being so, my busband and i are restricted in doing it because all that we are concentrated with now, is to provide more than enough for our only child's medicine studies in a far away city. But, when i was single, i used to travel a lot to provinces where my cousins are. The travel by itself is already enjoyable, because you get to see lots of sceneries as the air conditoned bus passes by them. I guess, my husband and i , will get to travel, when our daughter becomes a doctor already. I am looking forward to both our travel and our daughter becoming a doctor.

Travel need not be very expensive if you know how to get the timing for promos of the airlines. :-) But I salute you for giving best education your daughter has. Well traveling is really fun and enjoyable. Its needs planning and proper budgeting too.:-) Meanwhile just enjoy being a good parent to your daughter. Travelling will come very soon when everything is ready.

Actually, my husband and i get to travel once in a while also. We would sometimes go to the far city where our daughter studies to visit her and take those airconditioned bus. However, we don't get to see the scenes, because we travel early evening and arrive there early morning. But along the way, we enjoy taking our dinner and snacks on those restaurants, where the bus stops for the passengers to eat and relieve themselves.

Well, Palaway is definitely great. I have been there and was really fascinated by nature. I also had the chance to go to honda bay and fish feeding in snake island. Definitely its worth it. Well, I do travel a lot not only for fun but also for my work. I conduct training in different places and with this I get the chance to travel. Talk about mixing work and fun, that is what I do. Well right now, I am in Bohol, and from here, I will be going to Cagayan and then Davao... Its nice to travel though tiring, but definitely enjoyable.

HI janevi! That sounded so cool!!!! I wanna go there! I have never been to Palawan. Plane fare is just really expensive. The Skeleton Ship wreckage sounded awesome!!! I really wish I can go travel Palawan in the future. I like traveling, too. I have been to some places in our country but there are so much to explore still! I have only gone to Cebu, Bohol, Iloilo, Boracay, Mindoro, Marinduque, Baguio, Nueva Ecija, Naga, etcetera. Other places I have gone to are because of work and not really for the purpose of travel. But if I do go to a new place because of work, I try to explore it when I have time. I particularly like to explore nature like what you did. I haven't tried snorkeling though. ^^ I'm not much into getting into the deep. I prefer riding a boat.

I'm sure I will enjoy Palawan. I hope I can go there in the future. I've been to Guimaras before but we only went there for swimming. I wasn't really able to explore the place because of time constraint. But we'll be going back there in December. ^^ It would probably be difficult to organize an event like that with fellow Pinoy myLotters. There's a group who held a meet-up in Mall of Asia and they were successful in it and now planning to hold a second meet-up. Maybe you can ask for their help. I tried to meet myLotters from Manila when I was in Megatrade Hall for an exhibit on August something (four days) but no one was able to meet me. .

I love a boat ride too :-) I assure you, you will enjoy the visit to Palawan.:-) Snorkeling is fun and very enjoyable. Try it. You will enjoy. You also try going to Guimaras. Its one that its nice to go to. Maybe one day, we can organize a trip .:-) What do you think? Especially those from the Philippines who are also here in myLot.:-) Skeleton Wreckage is awesome. You can see the depths of the sea where it sank but you can also feel some 'frightening moments while under the sea. At least for me. But it is very safe. There are bay watchers and everybody is wearing a life jacket so there's no danger of sinking or drowning.:-) Its very exciting and full of fun.:-)

Yes it is. You can see the pointed triangular part of the ship that was already full 'talaba' :-) and many rock fishes swimming around it.:-) I was only able to explore the head part of the ship because I got afraid too because of the depth.:-)

I really enjoy traveling to different countries in the world. I am really pleased to heat that you enjoyed your time in Palawan. I will never forget being at Hot Water Beach in New Zealand. I dug a hole in the sand and then mixed hot and cold water together that came from the underground thermal spring. I have done lots of snorkeling around coral reefs in tropical regions of the world. Nowadays I travel with my disabled son in his wheelchair and my daughter. We are not able to manage steps. I am amazed to read 720 steps. I wish to visit the Philippines one day for some island hopping and snorkeling.

Yes, I have seen photos of Palawan and think wow about it. I have a travel guide book on the Philippines and it is excellent. I would fly into Cebu and travel by ferry. I have heard avoid flying into Clark Airport and Manila would be a better choice to fly into.

Yes island hopping is fun and exciting.Snorkeling is discovering the underwater beauty of nature. Its like seeing a different world. If ever you can travel here in the Philippines, don't forget to include in your itinerary the visit to Palawan both Coron and Puerto Princesa. I'm not from this province but I assure you that you will enjoy the tour in these places.;-)

I love traveling! January this year, I was at Palawan, too, but we went to Puerto Princessa. It was awesome. I'd also like to visit Coron one day. Sounds like a very nice place (Actually the whole of Palawan seems to be an amazing place). I'd love to be able to travel every nook and cranny of our country.

I agree that Palawan is an amazing place to visit and live actually. It is still fresh and no 'molestation 'of nature. I hope that this will be preserved so that people has a place to go for relaxation, and be with nature. Coron is a very nice place. It has lots of beautiful and exciting places to visit. I plan to go back there this coming December to visit other places I have not been. :-)

Wow, good for you! I've had my fill of travels this year, so, I'm putting off travels til next year. Do visit the underground river at Puerto Princesa, and vote for it! If by chance you still have time, why not visit El Nido? It takes a long time to get there but they say it's really, really worth the time and effort going there.

Thank you. Yes it is a discovery of the beauty of nature. One thing I have not included in my description is the twin lagoon. In there, the water is cold at the surface but warm underneath.:-) The water was so calm and very clean. One can go there in two ways. During low tide, you just enter a small cove under the bridge of the mountain and at high tide, you climb a seven-step ladder to go over to the other side. Its a pity I left my camera on the boat that docked around 100 meters away from the lagoon.:-) IT is safe because we are required to wear a life jacket. So no matter what happen , you will only float.:-) I enjoyed the trip very much that I plan to go back there this coming December to explore the other side of the archipelago.:-)

It sounds like you had a wonderful vacation. I love going to hot springs! They feel so good on tired and aching muscles. I just visited Utah and Colorado for the first time this summer. They are both truly beautiful states. We went white water rafting which was so fun. I love traveling. I have never been out of the United States, but I hope to very soon. This world is so beautiful. I would like to see all of it.

Travelling is a very nice thing. It makes our body more relaxed from the stress that we had. I like travelling to various universities who offers hotel amenities. I have come to visit the Visayas State University in Baybay City, Leyte. The campus is so huge. They have their own market, resort and hotel. We get to check their Apartelle in our first visit and on our second visit, we tried their Sea Front Suite. The feeling of being there is so different. You will not think that you are in a center of an educational institution. We tried their beach resort and their pool. And during meal times, we eat in the market where a bunch of food stores operates. With enough budget, I hope that I can also try visiting the famous Universities in the country that offers such amenities...

For now, I will just content myself to exploring our country and its hidden beauty and treasures. :-) I just like to be well-versed about our country so that if I will be asked where, what, why, when, how, I would know hoe to give exact directions and references.

I really enjoy travelling to different places. But not so far because travelling from a far distance really requires a much money when you are just travelling on your own. But when you travel with your friends then that would be not much spending of money, you can just share some of you money in somethings that are useful when travelling for a far places. Therefore travelling can be enjoyed if you have a lot of companions.

That's true travelling alone is quite expensive. But for adventurous people they travel alone. The best option is to travel in a group so that it will come out cheaper and merrier. It is even more exciting and thrilling because each one has a different perception of a thing . Another thing is if you can get a promo plane fare . Just check out their websites because they post their promos every now and then. Then just book for a day trip when you reached the place. It comes out a lot cheaper than booking ahead. If one really would like to travel, it is included in their plan for the year TO SAVE for it.:-) It's nice to visit places from time to time. :-)

Yes it is really enjoyable. Visiting places we've never been opens a lot of surprises, discoveries and excitement. Actually , I also have the habit of bringing my mother to places she has never visited when she was young. She enjoys it and is very grateful of the opportunity she has. She is like a little child that exclaims with excitement and seeing her with a big smile and heartful laughter is enough for me to be happy and grateful as well :-) I can give you the address and the number of the places where we stayed. They are very friendly and facilitative.:-) They also have good food. I love tuna , squid, etc. It's clean and nutritious.:-)
