We will always remember some significant events in our life and what we were doing then.
For example when the news flash on TV came on about Princess Diana being involved in an accident prior to her death, I remembered that I was at the gym on the treadmill with 2 other friends early afternoon in Asia. We had discounted that the accident may not be a serious one as the royalty always has the privilege of having their lives in the public any way.
Similarly when 911 came about, I had just returned home from work - late and tired. I received a call from my colleague who was trying to impress upon me the enormity of the situation and I was trying hard to comprehend the news too.
Now that the 10th year of 911 is upon us, do you then remember where you were and what you were doing when the news broke? Do share with all of us.

Hi,
Now its been twelve years since that event happened. I saw it on television from half a world away. I was upstairs then and the set was located down stairs and the news came on the transistor radio. Even from here, the picture on the tube cannot give much credit to the utter devastation and loss of human life as the news flashed across the world, still I was shocked just as if I was there.

I was coming back from school and people were talking in the elevator, I thought it was a joke, the way they were talking, I couldn't believe planes were flying and falling over buildings. Not only me no one was believing in it and when I turn on the tv, I was really shocked.

I was sitting on my living room sofa watching television when the story broke on the news showing the film footage of the planes crashing into the Twin Towers. I was in a state of shock watching the first plane crash into the first tower, and even more horrific when it crashed into the second tower. And then cried so hard with all that happening, in and of it self. The when the second plane crashed into the towers, my heart was shattered so much, and I cried even hard that I was shaking. The entire scenario of watching the planes crash into the Twin Towers was emotionally and psychologically disturbing.

I was taking nap, when my sister came by yelling, "turn on TV, turn on TV, turn on TV".
I think she's very silly, just to ask me to turn on the TV why she's must yelling and of course, I was angry, "there is no soap opera today."
But she did not care about me, she immediately turned on the TV and I'm immediately saw the scene on TV, a plane crashed into a building! ... This crazy and it was horrible!
I'm thought it was one movie scene .. and it was not. I saw a news show with a live broadcast from the scene!
