Rugby World Cup 2011

Any rugby fans here ?
The Rugby World Cup 2011 kicks off today with New Zealand once again hot favourites but they have been in this position for every world cup and only managed to win once, so will this year be different ?
Will France look wonderful at times but falter when they meet England, will New Zealand loose if they play France in the knock out stages as they have before ?
Will Wales and Ireland disappoint again and loose to some lesser nation ? and will South Africa grind there way to the final playing boring but effective rugby ?
And will USA play one good game, with everyone asking if this could be the breakthrough for rugby in the States - which of course it wont be !
Whatever happens - bring it on !

Yes, I am a definite Rugby Union fan. I live in Australia, and it is only natural for me to cheer for them. I still can't believe they lost to Ireland!

Yes that was certainly a turn up for the books.
Interesting that with that result it looks like it could turn out to be a complete north,south devide now right through the knockout stages.
I still think your boys will get to the Semi's but can they get the better of NZ in Auckland infront of their own crowd ?
As for my team I think the winner of the England v France quarter final (assuming it all goes to plan that far) will be in the final against NZ or the Aussies ?

I actually missed most of the initial action in the Rugby world cup. But have now got tuned in it with the quarter finals. Today the match between Ireland and Wales was fantastic with the Welsh winning it. Similarly, France upset the more fancied English in the other quarter final.
Who do you think will win this world cup?
