Can a book to change your life? If you know for sure which is that book, you read it?

ya a book can change a person's life. it depends on how the reader gets into a particular book, feel it and compares it with his/her real life. A book can really change the life of a person iff he can implement in real what he had learnt from it. A book that really brought change in my thiking is "The Magic of Thinking Big". this book helped me to gain a lot of positive thoughts and think positively, achieve something and personality development.

I enjoyed reading this book. David Schwartz corroborates his thoughts and suggestions with wonderful stories. You can apply his practical ideas even to change some of your perpetual habits. This book is really a motivation booster and forces you to get into action. It stimulates your positive thinking/attitude and alleges you not to make negative impressions about people/ideas/beliefs. The book affirms that successful people constantly involve in self-development. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to be successful and is looking for a motivation booster. Thanks for response.

Yes, definitely! There are many books that have changed my life. One of them is 'Breaking Barriers' by Danny Cox. In this book, he shows readers what seems impossible can actually be possible.

You're right!I totally agree with the premise of the book: nearly anything is possible. This book further expands that drive. I also loved the push toward continual self improvement; that’s surely how I live! Cox’s personal story is touching too! Thanks for response.

Now, if you're asking if a book can change our life, my answer would be no. Not in anyway shape or form. Books are wonderful for learning from, not changing. We are who we are, and nothing can change that. I find books informative and entertaining. I bang my own drum and do as I do. No one can tell me what to do or how to do it. Basically, books and movies go hand in hand. And so does music. I am sure you cannot change who you really are, no one can.

You are welcome very much for my response. To clarify why I sad that books cannot change our lives is because, books were written by people. So, in my opinion, a book is a persons point of view. There might be some elements of that persons life in it also. Can people relate to books? Of course. But books cannot change people.

There is much to talk about it, but understand that we are people first, with different needs and then with different reference systems. It's hard to do it on a pragmatic understanding how a novel can help, but it's just hard to make him an "idealist" to believe that novels are "substitutes" when he feels so intensely what happens in it after each read good book. Thanks for response.

Yes,I'm sure there are books who can change a person's life;sometimes we can look for means to change or improve our lives and the answer may lie in a book,or it might happen even if we don't have the goal of changing our lives when we start reading it,but we encounter some passages and ideas that are so inspirational to us that they really change our lives. We must never underestimate the power of books, sometimes they can be that decisive factor that triggers changes in our existence.

True, most of the changes favored by reading books, are interior, are not easy, the objective outside, but books can "touch" many parts of our being, which are quite real, and whose development is very useful. Regarding "my changes" were at least two examples that fall within their tangibility: that of reading a novel, and then to understand that you can extract useful information from the unsuspected sources, is high gain, in addition to developing mental flexibility, ability to juggle with notions from different fields, to establish connections. Thanks for response.

Yes of course! A book can change my life one way or the other. Many book has changed my life I'll just mention a few. 1) Algebra books- This books have made me of who I am now- an architect. 2) Clive Cussler books- This makes me respect the wildlife of the seas including land. 3) Tom Sawyer- This book makes me believe that there is still a kid inside us all and that makes us remember our childhood memories. These are just a few of the books I remember and still want to read when I'm having my free time.

And I think a book can have a great influence on our lives. I mean the way we think. It can make you change, or to give more importance to things that you see them too insignificant. I remember I was about 6 years and my mother read me to sleep at night "Nobody's Boy" by Hector Malot. And I know exactly that I was able to sleep from 17 hours to get there quicker "story". Until one evening when my mother said to leave on the second day. That night I figured to continue and the next day I started to learn to read because my imagination was poverty and not managed to find an end to "make good" with everything I read. This book motivated me in an effort not believe me capable, more than anything else ever. And he did something: I opened the door to a world where I like to live longer with each page read book. Thanks for response.

I don't think that I can pin-point any certain book that's changed my life, but I know that books have had an immeasurable influence on me and I do believe that a single book can change someone's life. Personally, I believe there have been a bunch of books that I've read and referenced to change myself in one way or another.

there are many reasons why people read books -- to discover more about their fave genre, to learn how to earn online (oh yeah, there are tons and tons of book for that topic). but i think the main reason for reading is to learn, no matter what genre, or what subject that it, one will surely learn something. learnings and discoveries change our lives, they way we see things, the way we understand situations, etc. and perhaps i bet i would say YES to your first question. but on the second one, i think my answer would be NO. if there would be one book im sure of that would change my life, i'll probably just pass by that book. i would want to run my like with discoveries of my own, learnings of my own, and mistakes of my own and not immediately make a massive change in my life because of one single book. this is a very interesting question didi13... :)

Books, we changed one bit, life / character. Impresses us and then left us ... do not feel anything at the moment ... but it's there. Depends on mood and perceived as a book in some time though. And of course our ability to understand. I'm "done" of books, but I can not say that there is one that "changed" me definitive, but all made ??me what I am now. Thanks for response.
