Yesterday, I sincerely prayed and greeted Virgin Mary since it was Her birthday. As a Roman Catholic, I grew up with faith in Her and I make sure not to miss her special day every 8th of September. Others may not believe in her but it's not a big deal for me since we have our own faith and religion and I respect others beliefs.

This is new to me. Thank you for the information. I grew up Catholic but I do not ever remember even knowing Sept 8 was her birthday. I remember we celebrated the month of May and had May ceremonies in her honor, but this is the first time I knew she had an official birthday. I wonder if any other Catholics who grew up in the US celebrated?
