To me, the happiest time in my childhood is the time can have snacks after school. At that time, life became a little better but still very hard. Most family can eat meat only once a week. Having snacks seemed as a luxury to many people. Luckily, my grandma usually prepared something as a snack for me. Sometimes boiled Chinese potatoes, sometimes dried turnip or steamed stuffed bun. I can had them before the dinner and shared with my friends in the game time. Looking back, I think it is the reason for me taller than other girls here.

I also remember that I try to be a good girl and get praise from my teachers. So I did homework carefully, and lesson carefully in the class. And usually at the end of the school term, I can get some toys or stationeries from my teacher. Thank you fro your sharing!

Children loves playing - Childhood is fun
My childhood is filled with happy memories! I'd say I was at my happiest whenever I play with fellow kids in the neighborhood. When I was a kid, playing was my life and my life was playing. I'd cry when my Mom would not allow me to go out and play. It was like the end of the world to me when I could not join the children in playing outside. I love outdoor games a lot, all the more those that require a lot of running and moving. I was a very active child and could not be just kept inside the house. Ha!ha!ha!

Playing games is a very important life in the childhood. Children can learn how to communicate with other and form team spirit from that. And games are also good way of physical exercise and losing weight. Now as more and more children eat more and exercise less, more children are overweight. And in most case, the better player are better learner.

Hi there! For me, I can't say it's the happiest time but definitely my most awaited moment everyday at school. It's recess! :) Because during recess, my friends and I can play at the swings and slides as we imitate the uncanny X-Men. I really enjoyed that part. Sometimes, we also play ball games after school. I can't exactly remember or pinpoint my happiest time because I think every moment for me was happy. I grew up with my mom and dad with siblings, close with relatives especially with the grandparents.

Considering the circumstances, what you consider special is indeed very special! As for myself, I think the happiest time in my childhood came in my late "child years" when I was able to help my family out. It was small amount of course, but help still the same. I was lucky enough to grow up with an awesome family. They were fun but still taught me how to be a good citizen and all that. I was never abused in any way, and I remember my mom making sacrifices. My life was so good that in my mid-teens I felt a little guilty about it. I had such great parents and couldn't really return anything to them. But then in my late teens times got really hard after my dad lost his job. I was able to get a part time job (I wish I could have done better, but the local economy around here was and still is as sparse as it gets). I was finally able to help out in a meaningful way. After my parents had to done so much for me, I could finally do something for them! It was a great feeling.

Thank you for your sharing. From your parents, you know how to love your family be actions and you make it. Life may be hard at that time, but you try your best to do what you can do to make it better. I think your parents must very happy with your behavior for they has a good child as you. And it is also a great fortune for yourself, you can learn a lot from the part-time job, know the hard of life and know your parents' effects to make sure you have a good childhood. Good luck!

As a child, I was my granny's favourite grandchild. So, I suppose that period of time when I was my granny's favourite grandchild was the happiest.

We are the same. The happiest time for me in school was breaktime, Recess and Lunch. I eat a lot when I was a child. My allowance was always not enough. Every year, I would ask a allowance increase from my parents. hehehe :)

I know what you mean about having snacks when you got home from school. I have always loved my Mum, and enjoyed seeing her when I got home from school, and having a snack with her made me always associate having snacks with being home from school and being with my Mum. I also used to like it when she was at work and my grandparents used to come to my house to look after me and my younger brother. We would always have a biscuit and a drink at 10am which was midmorning and sit and watch something good on the TV which I enjoyed watching.

Personally speaking, my happiest time in the childhood was the moment when I finished the examination paper before summer vacation. As every Chinese know, students usually spent a lot of time doing homeworks before examinations. Such huge pressures were totally released after examination. Then I could imagine the beautiful pictures of the coming summer vacation. Such feeling undoubtedly made me happy.

I miss my childhood. A time I could just be myself and have no care in the world. I would always go to my cousins house and we would play video games all day. We would go to the beach as well on any hot day and we'll hang there until it got really dark. I miss those times. Now, we've been having family problems and I don't get to see my cousins as often. It's kind of awkward now, not as fun as our childhood days.
