Do you feel that it is true statement that big hospitals are keeping people sick? Do Pharmaceutical company's have that much of a hold on our doctors that they risk good healthcare? Here is a quick story that is going on right now. Its about my mother. She currently has stage 4 cancer. The doctors have sent her home with hospice care as she did not want to go through chemotherapy. Prior to this point she had started treatment in Mexico with a very well know doctor that had shrunk her tumors down by 70-80%. She had then left to return home. Upon returning to the local hospital with in a week she had gotten worse and now her liver had swollen and her pancreas is not only getting rid of bad cells but good cells. The doctor had given her medicine to cure lupus which apparently they misdiagnosed. They also told her that her liver was not working properly and that her bone marrow was not producing red blood cells. As soon as she requested her files to ship to Mexico the doctors returned to her saying that they misdiagnosed her and that her liver was working properly until they treated her for lupus and that her bone marrow was producing red blood cells. They then told her there was nothing they could do about her liver. Not once did they mention a liver transplant or any kind of life extending surgeries. We all feel that because my mom does not want to do the chemotherapy that the doctors were trying to make her worse so that she would want to go through with it.I have found quite a list of pharmaceutical companies involved with chemotherapy and another Rumor that i heard is that doctors receive bonus money from them for reaching certain quotas. The last is rumored i do not know personally.

It is not surprising at all, keeping America sick will means big and powerful pharmaceutical company can continue to make plenty of $$$ for their shareholders and executive. It is the corporate greed again.
