I really dont think we should love just for what we can get but for what we can give. That way you will not expect too much from your partner. Secondly men generally believe that if they dont make promises women will not give them a chance so because of that , they result to making empty promises. Therefore, my advise to females is once again not to be too expectant of your partner so that u wont be dissapointed.

Yes I do also feel the sentence "I'll do anything for you" and "I'll love you forever" are lies! Well there are people who love the other till they die but not my ex boyfriend. He said he'd love me forever but still we split up and don't talk no more. Sometimes I just wish they wouldn't say things like this if they don't really mean it.

there are a few ways to look at that. that he is saying it to take advanage of her. that he knows he not going to keep it. that is bad but she will have to see it for herself. but also with today reationships , he may not know that hes not doing anything. if a kid is raised around couples arguing and fighting. that is the way the kid thinks its supost to be. if he was raise that the guy says that but does what he does and that is nothing than he may think hes doing something right. its all about how he seen reationships when he was little.
