Today Early morning we two colleagues were talking about recent incidents of politics of Pakistan. One person whom we both even don't know came to give routine kind of office Correspondence. He start talking on the subject like he have done PhD in it. We listened his lecture almost for 30 minutes and than I asked him to leave with humbly. What is the motivated force behind those people who have closed minds but they always open their mouth? What is your thoughts?

HI islooboy People with closed minds are mostly the ones who blabber. Something like - Empty Vessels Sound a Lot They open their mouth because they are frustrated and do not know how to vent out their feelings (basically turn their emotions or feelings into acts that could help)

the sides/islooboy: Not all the five fingers are alike. People are different. Some talk more. some talk less. Depending on our mood we like some people talking and we do not like some others talking. Tolerance is key for success in many occasions. good day.

Sorry guys, my monitor burnt yesterday from in side sparking I don't what was the problem so I was unable to answer. You are right they, some of them are just jabber kind a stuff and they create more sound instead of any logic. Well we thought he is trying to burst his inner anger out so we facilitate him for 30 minutes but when we analyse he is something else like you said unlimited chatter than I humbly requested him to leave so we can start our work again. @ravi - yes no once can be same and never we put them into same categories but we have to avoid them to live with peace of mind. lol 30 minutes was the biggest tolerance from me inm y entire life.

Actually, not all the people with closed minds like opening their mouths.I also meet with some people who have closed minds but they even don't want to talk to me. So I think maybe different kinds of people have different bahaviors, it depends on everyone's character.

Well, about those you are talking are lesser evils for me but those who love to talk and spread their ideas without going through thought process are very dangerous.

hi isloooboy we have one person like that here at Gold Crest. No matter what you start talking about he contradicts you then goes on and on and on with the blabber until most of us just walk off in disgust.as long as you will give this person an audience he will keep blowing hot air.

On the first place they never used their minds so they better talk for the reason they know what is the issue. Disguise like they are intelligent. And for them to publish it publicly they talked and let other noticed him he is genius. That is the thing that first come into my mind whenever i see those people who talked nonsense business. They dont have any outlet so they better talk.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion even if you don't personally agree. When it comes to certain subjects, such as matter of goveronment for example, you may find replies not-so-favorable. You must learn to ignore those type of people and understand they mean you no harm. I can't understand why a close-minded person would state their opinion. But, maybe it's because they have one. Perhaps they wish to share their views knowing some may, or may not agree. Close-mindedness isn't a crime. Usually it's only due to a lack of facts, as well as the person only ever seeing one point-of-view. While they are annoying, make an effort to educaite them rather then shun them.

They open their mouths, because it seems they conclude to an idea or decision much faster as they have a closed mind. People who are open minded tend to think and analyze situations much longer, and before they conclude on their idea or opinion, they step back because they may have found a problem with their thoughts. At least this is what I have observed with many people. You know the expression, your just talking with your mouth and not your brain? I think it is the same principle. People talk and continue talking, and as they talk, they think of their ideas, without fully analyzing. So basically in a way, using what the know before, they are just winging their presentation. Whereas people who analyze, make more sense and develop a much proper presentation.

I think this is the real difference between them which you elaborated in your answer and wish people consider what they are talking before opening their mouth

Well, I'm guessing that India is a democratic coutnry. If it is, freedom of expression and speaking out is one of the main credo of democracy. becuase freedom of expression grants protection for every opinion, the opinion might be either in agreement or disagreement of your opinion. Freedom of expression aside, some people who are close minded tend to be defensive in protecting their ideals against people who they think are very forward in their thoughts and principles (aka liberals). They might felt that their ideals are attack so they speak up to defend them. Sometimes, what comes out of their mouths don't have an ounce of logic or reason but it doesn't matter as long as they feel satisfied that they defended their own.

First of all let me clarify that yes India is a democratic country and MY Country Pakistan is also Democratic and we also believe on freedom of expressions but we also care about others feelings before using our right. If expression grants protection for every opinion, the opinion might be either in agreement or disagreement of your opinion than listener has also the rights to listened or not what he like or dislike so we have to give first than demand just like pay taxes to get services. Second defending their beloving leader or personality is not a bad thing but the way you are defending it is the problem some times which we have to consider in to discussion.

that is what they call, shallow waters are noisy and deep waters are silent. people who know much does not make noise on what they know and instead they wait until their opinions are asked.

Hello isloöoboy, i always believe that a persön with little knowledge is more dangerous than a person with no knowledge.its frustrating tö listen to the speech öf a person having little knowledge.if i encounter such situatiön i normally close my ears and don't stress my mind to listen to that and try to leave to avoid waste of time.

Because close minded people don't have the capacity to absorb or try to take in things so they tend to give out things which is usually done by their mouths. This is very common for them as they think that they are always correct or their ideas are correct enough that it should be given out and be used by other people. They are often the ones who don't listen or don't know how to use their ears. Their minds are concentrated on what they know only and equivalently isn't getting any other things from the outside source. Those kind of people are really the most stupid people that there can be. They are the ones that hinder growth and improvement and mainly are the braggarts who only knew how to talk and not take action.

Very well said and very nicely elaborated definition of the people who have open mouth on every topic without done anything in life. For me they are the losers that is why they release their frustration in the shape of spreading and they do not like listening :D

People who talks nonsense are people who cannot admit that they know little. Since their mind is closed then something must be opened .:-D Just kidding.:-)

Lol.:-)For me its just a simple logic, when one is closed then one must be opened because if it will all be closed it will burst. :-D This is what you call compensatory mechanism. They talk too much to create an impression that they know more ( based on the old school ;-) )but nowadays, people who talks little are those who have plenty of things in their mind. They just don't open their mouth about petty things. When they strike a conversation, it would surely of interest :-) and you'll have a meaty discussion.:-)

It is quite hard to get rid of them. One famous adage says, "if you can't beat them, join them ".:-D Because the more that you would like to get rid of them, the more they stick on you. When they talk, just allow them. You can't change the way they are but you can change how you would react to them.:-) Keep your cool.:-)
