If you live with your parents-in-law and you don't have a good relationship with one of them to the point that you are so miserable and your spouse would not leave his/her parents, would you leave even without him or just suffer for the sake of your family?

I have been in that situation, and I left. I took me 14 years to get over him but I am still happy I left and found myself back. It has nothing to do with love if you suffer for the sake of your partner. Love should come from both sides.

I think I agree with you. I haven't been in this situation. But I think if I was I wouldn't bbe abe to just suffer for the sake of love, but at the same time I dont think I would be able to leave the one I love. I would try to come to a compromise and then if I cant then I would probably leave.

I just watched Maalaala Mo Kaya and it's episdoe today is about the relationship of a mother-in-law to her son's wife. If I were in her same situation, I think leaving them would be my last resort. I will try anything first just to make my mother-in-law love me. I will prove to her that I am worthy of her son's love and I will explain to her that her son won't leave her, I will just assure her and make her love me.
