Mylot joining with Cash Goper making a lot of fuss

I have seen this is making a lot of fuss, positive and negative. I personally welcome Mylots decision to team up with another company, to give it's users more opportunities to earn money, if I will use this service is another thing... Some Myloters are concerned that this new option of earning money tracks what you do on internet - I personally have not jet studied if this is true or false (will do it when if I will be deciding in the future if I will use this service or not) but whatever the truth might be, I think it really is irrelevant - well not irrelevant, bare with me... If this software indeed tracks your activity on the internet so be it, it is your decision if you will use this software or not and if it does not it is also yours - if this is a bad or a good thing is another decision you make. I guess all what this software does is explained in TOS and PP, if you read them you are informed about it and based on that you decide upon them... I am personally not keen on software that tracks activity, so I don't install such software but some people are OK with it, I mean if all you do on internet is browse for cookie recipes who cares if FBI (or whatever) knows about it! This brings me to this discussion, I do not want it to be deleted so please be kind enough to not write about your opinions on Mylot joining with this particular program. What I want to discuss here is as follows: Do you always read through TOS and PP before signing up to a certain site? What is your general opinion on software that tracks your activity? Do you think that Facebook users (as it is assumed that Facebook tracks your activity) can use tracker software without fear since they are being tracked anyway? Do you think we are tracked without the use of these software anyway - by IP address and that such software is really not necessary or only serves as a cover up so we think we are safe if we do not use it (conspiracy theory lol)?

To understand what is happening, one needs to read the old science fiction novels. "1984" and "Big Brother" spring to mind. It has all been predicted, and now it is here. You have no identity. We know what is best for you. You will obey!

PurplePeopleEater: ah but he addressed the matters which are at the end of the discussion... And I actually do not mind when people stray a bit out of the discussion, but when they try to persuade me that my discussion is wrong and that I claim stuff that I don't - yeah that's when I do not want things to roll that way... petersum: I have to agree with you, it might have not come to this globally in and complete but I think we are heading in this direction. Phones being surveillance - I think (yes I think, before someone says I claim) that apple's phones were or are recording and saving your whereabouts always, tracking systems in passports etc. I think internet tracking is the easiest too achieve without us even realizing.
