Tags

Another reason why tags are important is that we are suppose to search the myLot search bar to make sure we are not creating duplicate topics. Duplicate topics are not allowed and they do get deleted. There are many members who will start discussions saying that their discussions were deleted and they did search the search bar. The search bar cannot find a discussion that is not properly tagged and or had no tags. No search engine can actually. I do tag almost all discussions I participate with. Another reason too is that if you properly tag them and are similar to other discussion then they come up to the right here when they are similar to others.----------------------------

Hi Surely Tags are important on mylot. By the tags we are searching discussions on mylot by writing those tags on mylot search bar. I am used to of tagging in almost every discussions.

I always try to add tags to everything I post, and what I comment on. It makes is easy for others who are searching for a certain discussion or image. And you can bet I'll be tagging this discussion as well :P

I think tags help make it easier for people to search for your posts/discussions. I think tags also help to promote mylot by attracting traffic to it, in the sense that they make mylot more visible in search engines.
