Im a 3rd year Electronics Engineering student. i am required to do a project that drives me and my classmates crazy. We have to individually submit a power supply that runs 0-24 V with course and fine potentiometer, 3Amp, NO BJT, NO IC but with FET. i already have a circuit diagram but it turns out that the FET i put is not available anymore here in my country. :( i badly need help.. i cant think of another design/diagram that fits the requirement and the available fet in town.

There are many such circuits on the Internet. All you need to do is search! It's ridiculous posting here because we don't know what is your town or what FETs will be available. Try the mylot search and you might even gain a reward!
