Do you have a bucket list?

September 10, 2011 2:35pm CST
A few days ago, I was reading my cousins blog and came across her bucket list. It quickly inspired me to create my own bucket list. If you haven’t heard about the bucket list, it is a list of all the goals you want to achieve, dreams you want to fulfill and life-experiences you desire to experience before you die. I wrote 20 that I want to achieve and maybe I'll update it when I fulfill those 20:D or when I think of a new achievable one:D

I have a bucket list but I don't write it down. I mentally keep that wish for achieving that goal in my life. And if I don't wish it anymore I just have to forget and don't have to erase it from my List. :) Rod

I don't have a bucket list. Gave up on that since my health is not great and I never know how my day will start or end. I did not gave up on life but I learned to be happy with small things and also that all the goals in life mean nothing after you reached them. I don't need goals to live for or enjoy my life more. I try to live more by the day and to do what pops up in my mind if possible (in the near future or inmediately)

I do have a list but in my brain i guess you can say. Of course i have wishes that iw ould l ike to achieve one day and we will see when that happens as well. I do have goals that i try to keep from month to month. I like having my goals and working hard to acheive them. I do goals for my money making online and my wishes are wishes for me to keep to achieve for my life one day.

I don't have a bucket list, but after reading you post I think it's cool to have one. And It doen't matter if we write it down or just keep in mind. This bucket list could remind us what we really want to do and what we most care about.

"Achievable" is the key, I think. I have dreams, then I have plans. I do write down plans, but they tend to change on me, sometimes because I change my mind and other times because life changes so that they're no longer relevant. I have dreams, though! At my age, I realize that they're only dreams and the only way they would happen would be through a miracle. I can work on my plans though and usually complete them.

I used to be a dreamer, an ambitious one, and now I feel depress whenever I remember how much I dreamed of so many things and have never achieved a lot of them. I think I still have time to achieve some, but I'm not as enthusiastic as I was when I was younger. I guess that's life. Some dreams just remain to be dreams.

hi flowerfest not anymore as I amcontent right now with what I am doing and I do have hopes for getting back into an apartment with myson but until the economy starts moving up again it might take time. I am too old now to have a lot of long time goals. my only real goal is just be happy now.

My bucket has one thing in it: "Don't die." More seriously, I gave up listing things I wanted to achieve as my life always seems to notice when I'm getting closer and screws everything up for me. Now I just have one or two very minor little dreams that I haven't buried... fingers crossed.

Good for you. I hope you are able to accomplish your hopes and dreams. I've often thought of creating a bucket list. But just haven't taken the time to do so. Best Wishes!

I used to have a written bucket list, but as I get older I have let go of several of my goals. I think I will not able to make them to become true. Perhaps its more motivating to have a bucket list with all 20 goals when you are younger.

Oh yes, I have! In the past, I used to write down what I wanted to achieve. But now I only keep a mental list.
