I am very keen on traveling to different countries and on some of my travels I have found out there are better places to live than my home country. I was at one time very keen on the idea of emigrating to Australia. I visited it when I was 20 to 21 years old on my trip around the world. I went there again at 28 years old and was sure I was going to emigrate there. I wasn't able to though and it came as a very big disappointment. I visited New Zealand when I was 29 years old and wondered if I would be able to emigrate there. I was approved to work as a teacher there and got my qualifications assessed for migration purposes. Whilst there I chatted to some Brits that emigrated there 5 years ago. They said that they got poorer every year but had seemed rich when they had arrived. In my home country there are some very cheap airfares and this is not so in Australia and New Zealand. So for traveling I am better to stay in my home country. In 2006 I visited Belize in Central America and noticed some American expats living there. It seemed quite a desirable place to live. If allowed to live anywhere it would be Albany in Western Australia or Northland in New Zealand.

I have not been able to travel much, only to England in the Norfolk county, but I have read about many many places and would like to visit them all. But the one place that I really really would like to stay at would the Provence in France.

I read a book An Year in Provence and very much enjoyed reading it. The book is written by an English author Peter Mayle who moved to Provence in France and is an account of their first year after moving. He describes the life in the French countryside in such a delightful manner, that I cannot help but think of living their, especially going in to experience the unique goat races :)

I am very happy living at the place I am living now, a beautiful city with all the necessities. But, if ia have to choose another country, I would choose Switzerland. That is a very beautiful country too. Very pleasant and the people are very friendly. Swiss Alps have no comparison at all !

My secret dream is to be able to live in the whole world! I'd be living in one place for say 2, 3 or 4 months, and then move to the next destination! But, it's a hard thing to do, unless I'd live by myself my entire life, or I'd find someone willing enough to have that lifestyle.
Well, for lack of money or time, I have to stick to just one place, and I'm at a place, though a bit far from my place of birth, still, it's within my country. But, I'm curious about staying for a longer time abroad. Hmmm...
