Is house a necessity or luxury to your life?

When you think of family, what's the frist thing that goes through your mind? Some of pepole will answer house or apartment,so housing has an improtant place in our family life! But the house is so expensive that many guys have to do a lifetime of struggle, is it really necessary to buy an own house? what's your opinion?
