My friend just had a miscarriage. She said, a monster did it to her.

hi tess__quinain No I really do not believe that at all, just p eople making up stories t o scare themselves and everyone around ' them. a person is so vulnerable when pregnant and some thoughtless people just love to scare the heck out of the pregnant person. No miscarriages happen because something went wrong in the development of the fetus so the body rejects it. I went through this and yes it was gross but its all medically explained and not by monsters.

I am sorry for your friend. I hope she'll be okay. I have heard of such stories, but refuse to believe them. I know that this mythical creature story has been around for a very long time. I just choose not to believe it. Was she having her regular check ups while she was still pregnant? There are many reasons of probable causes for miscarriage. Anyway, I just hope she'll be okay soon, because tragedies like this can really be traumatic. She really needs emotional and spiritual support right now.

Studing in the medical field trying to become a nurse I would have to say no sorry I do not believe this. I am not one for ghost stories. Mainly they are in your mind (not saying you did not see it) you did just in your head. I do not think they can do physical damage and I think this miscarriage could have been due to her stress or something may have went wrong other wise.

It is something that sounds odd to anyone who has not experienced it, and since I have not I can't say I believe this. It is sad to hear she lost the baby and hope that she is okay and if she will additional help. Wondering if the so called experience could have her yet spooked. I do hope she is getting some additional help as loosing a baby is tough to deal with.

It is a very sad thing to lose a baby, and just like when you lose an older child, your mind tries to make some sense out of it. These stories may be how her mind is trying to make sense out of it. Since you said the child is deformed, it's probably that the body sensed something wrong and aborted the baby in the miscarriage. This is one way the body takes care of babies who many not be able to survive outside the womb. All babies with something wrong aren't miscarried, but many are. I am sorry that your friend lost this child.

It is unfortunate that people have such strong superstitions. A monster did not do that to her. No supernatural forces were at work. Sometimes a body just isn't equipped to deal with a pregnancy.

Since the baby was deformed, this was probably just a spontaneous abortion. However, in the case of the other women, belief in the stories about monsters could bring on the stress that brought about the Miscarriage.

Nopes, I don't believe that such a monster would be doing such. If her faith in God is strong, she will be protected. Miscarriages are often caused by a lot of issues, from the mothers health condition to the forming of the baby inside. It also denotes something which she intakes or have eaten and some physical strain that might have caused miscarriage. But if she was following the orders of her doctor with a regular check-up,vitamin and proper sleep and relaxation, it should have also been avoided. I would not blame the place if it was the caused of her miscarriage. Sucking the baby's blood out of her sounds more of a MOVIE that her imagination would have invented to cope up with her depression. But in reality, it will never be like that, not even close. Would you believe such old wives tale of neighbors? Trust and believe God more than the enemy who is Satan. I pray for comfort for your friend. What is her age by the way? did she go to the doctor for another check-up, and how many times did she have a miscarriage?

I don't know if that folklore was a true in your culture, but there is no scientific evidence to prove it to be a truth. First thing first, I am sorry to hear that your friend lost her baby, and I wish that she will get through this. Maybe she is deeply stressed and distressed about the fact that she was miscarriage, I hope that everything will be okay with her.

Hi dear, It is absolutely foolishness if you think all monster stories. I think you all are living in this world and think open. No external force or any supernatural powers have any influence in our lives. So let the girl to be more prepared to be a mother for the next time. Proper conception, timely doctors visit, suggested medication, proper s*x (I mean, these days the s*x deals of the young couples are non ethical and not at all advised the improper methods of s*x life). Once the women in confirmed as pregnant, the further s*x life should be so moderate and proper. Many h/b and girls are not at all care in the initial stages and it will lead to such miscarriages. Many re not so bothered on such things. Also, depend on the specific body conditions each and every girl has totally different body nature and health conditions. Again we all should be ware of something that if anything observed in the proper manner and still happens something out of reach, we need to be careful and take adequate precautions. As the medical field is so advanced, it is not so complicated for the doctors to treat the girl from the very beginning. Only thing, they should disclose the fact to the doctors and they will start appropriate medicine and treatment. So be confident and keep hop on her and request you to NOT think of any other stories which is fully ignored and don't think just like a child. Thank-s

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your friend. I heard a lot of stories like that. My aunt experienced that when she was still pregnant. Even my cousin who was just gave birth a month ago experienced that. I'm not really sure though what really happened. But they say that they heard something on a roof like a big bird flapping its wings.

ur friend is superstitious maybe shes become paranoid bcuz of the horrible stories and she got stressed.

its quite strange that she has had a miscarriage when shes in the area where the monsters are. But i believe that it depends on the person and how superstitious they are.
