What's in your wall?

The room in your wall, I mean. Not in Facebook. I have just taken off an old poster of one of the anime I love and replaced it with another old poster of another anime. I've got other posters stuck in my wall here in my room and one wall scroll, and all of them are anime. I've also got wall decorations (sticker wall deco) such as flowers, hearts, a couple in the park about to kiss, a couple riding a bicycle, and a little house with small trees beside it. How about in your wall?

My walls are bare. It's a beautiful shade of apple green and I'd like to keep it simple like that. Oh, wait I have a hanging wall clock that's red.

Wow! We got the same wall! A touch of apple green and all bare! The apple green color of the wall soothes me up whenever my eyes are tired due to too much myLotting and computer use. Oh, I forgot! I have my guitar hanging on my wall and not a clock like yours.

My wall color is pink. And I've got no hanging clock or anything that's hanging. Oh, there is! Beside the light switch, I have there hanging a small duster and my scooter keys.

I had pink walls growing up. And then a friend (who graduated with a degree in Psychology) said that assylums usually have pink walls. Apparently pink helps people to calm down.

I have almost nothing on my bedroom walls because I live in a converted barn and the bedroom is on the second story and the largest wall is tilted so that nothing will hang properly on it. One wall has a door to the hall, a hanging small gift pillow a friend gave me, some cassettes in holders, and a closet with a mirro on the doors. Now in the kitchen its a different story. I have plaques, pictures of my children, baskets, a vegetable brush, a small bulletin board, and a special painting done by a friend of my son in memory of my son.

That's really sad, Barb. It would really be nice to know what happened to your son's friend after all this time.

I think you mean the wall in my room and what is on the wall. What is in the wall would probably mice. On the wall is a clock. We live very plainly, we don't have much on any wall.

I'm living with my sister-in-law right now, and since her whole family is in another country, I'm currently and temporarily occupying her youngest sister's room. And since it wasn't mine, I can't post anything on the wall or mess up the things that was in the room before I moved my things in. Too bad I can't really put into use my hidden creativity to may the feel of the room base on my taste. I envy you a bit because you have your own room to mess up with according to your preferences that suits your character and personality. My temporary room (that is not mine) just have a cream paint on it. Just that. A bit boring for my taste. But at least I have a room where I can put all my stuffs.

Yeah, at least you've got a room where you can put all your things and a place you can be alone when you want to. Actually, before, I did not have any room. I occupied the whole second floor of our house. Well, my mother's things were there, too but she sleeps downstairs. I was happy to have a room finally, because I really wanted some privacy and yeah, I wanted a place that I can design based on my taste and personality. Maybe you can still use your hidden creativity in that room as long as you don't use materials that are permanent or anything that would leave a mark.

I see. Because I have heard of Lord Ganesha and I think he was a character in a drama I've watched before but I already forgot what kind of god he is.

My wall is empty after a took down the poster of a young David Beckham.. lol =D I replaced that empty space with a tall computer work desk, to block out the ugly patch left behind.. lol =D In the past, i have lots of hooks sticking on my wall, hanging my clothes, my watches and all, so that it's convenient for me to choose, wear and go.. lol =D So when everything is taken down, it's replaced with wardrobes and beds ^^

Hi, secretbear. I have only a calendar on my wall in my home. I don't have any pictures on my walls here at all. In my future home, I will have pictures on my walls then. I love pictures, they make the home seem so peaceful and homy.

In our living room there are a lot of small pictures. Most of my favourite artists are represented for instanse Michael Kvium from Denmark, Jacek Yerka from Poland and Mark Ryden and Jim Warren from the US. In our living room we also have have a Japanese scarf on the wall. The scarf was a picture from my Japanese friends, I use it as a wall decoration insteaf a scarf, because it is beautiful and because it is a nice way to remember my Japanese friends. We can't meet very often because of the distanse. In the hall there are 3 photomanipulations that I have made. In the kitchen most of the walls are empty, there is only one thing on the walls and that is wallcalender with pictures of rabbits and guinea pigs. In our bedroom there are 3 pictures that I have painted.

Your taste for artists is worldwide! I also have some stuffs that I use as decorations instead of using them as they are. I have a drinking glass that looks like a Coca-cola in can that I use as a decor and not as a drinking glass. I got it from Mcdonalds Singapore and it's just too cute to be used as an everyday drinking glass.

Not much these days, but that's because I had just taken everything off of the walls for cleaning. It is that time of the year after all. There were posters all over the walls right there, and framed portraits of family members. It was a rather active wall to say the very least and it was rather interesting. A bit cluttered, but when I put everything back up, I would rearrange it to really make it something different and perhaps more organized. The actual walls themselves, pretty much are just wood paneling to say the very least. Although the way that the wood paneling is arranged can be interesting and a bit morbid at times. There is one area of my wall that looks like a spooky human face. It wasn't intended that way, but it was just built that way. Again, it is rather funny how things like that works. Still it is more or less just wood paneling on those walls.

HI megamatt! I understand what you meant about your wall giving a look like a spooky human face and that it was just built that way. I sometimes see different kinds of things, too in our bathroom wall. It's a rough concrete without tiles so the rough surface gives a lot to my imagination.

I have a gigantic night-time photograph (I mean BIG!!! 3 feet by 4 feet) of the pre 9/11 NYC Skyline. Today being 9/11 it's a rather touching thing to see hanging up there. My American husband and i absolutely love it. I saw it in an Ikea Catalogue soon after the attacks, and I just had to have it.

Through out my home there are various things hanging on my wall. In the living room there is a painting of winter beech trees done by my mom who passed away in 2005, there is one of a winter mountain scene and another of a mountain in summer with wildlife. I also have Native American Bandana's on my wall. There is a large very old vintage bakers chocolate tin type photo of the bakers chocolate lady about 85 years old. There is a photo of a Native American girl by a stream in the moonlight titled "Redwings" There is also a large chime clock. On my dining room wall there are photos of my children and grandchildren and another clock. On my Kitchen wall is a Kitchen prayer and a calandar featuring butterflies. On my bedroom wall is a calandar with kittens, Also a large drawing done 5 years ago by my now 13 year old grandson of a cat at its dish. I treasure it. Then there is the butterfly cut out of cardboard done by my granddaughter Zariah and her little brother Gerrin who has gone to live with our Lord Jesus he passed away August 19th 2009 just two days after he and his sister presented me with that butterfly cut out it was the last gift I got from him and he had his sister help make it specially for me as a belated birthday gift. I will treasure it the rest of my life. On my office wall are photos of my grandchildren including Gerrin and a calander and a pictures of cats one with butterflies. There is also a photo of Old Glory our American flag a vintiage poster made in 1948.

Hi Celanith. Looks like there are a lot of things in your wall. Your mom must have loved nature a lot. But I particularly noted the photo of the Native American girl by a stream in the moonlight. I love the title "Redwings". Must be a romantic photo. I can understand how much you treasure your grandchildren's work of art. Children's art are always almost amusing and wonderful! I have a 3-year old niece and a 6-year old nephew and they both like to color stuffs. I'm not sure if their mother ever preserved anything they made though. Thanks for the response. ^^

Above my fireplace I have a mirror with a black metal frame. Just over my dining table I have a large picture of a tropical beach in a black frame. In my hall I have three photos in black frames showing tropical destinations. In my bedroom I have photos of Samoa that I have taken myself. It is my favorite place in the world. I have a mirror above my chest of three drawers. I have a map of the world in a black frame in my bedroom as well.

My wall is just plain, boring white paint. I live in an apartment, so tenants can paint the walls, but then we have to paint them back to white before we move out. I am just too lazy to do that. But I have bought some accessories to add color to my room, and I might buy some wall decor such as peel'n'stick just to add something to my walls. But I have had bare walls for almost 3 years, so I could do with or without.

That would really be so inconvenient if you would have to repaint it again back to white. And a waste of money, too. If I were you I would also use materials that can easily be removed.

Me and my sister shares the same room. She got a specific side and I got mine. Well, expected for a busy person like me, I wasnt able to decorate anything on my wall but my sister's looks fabulously designed with poster taken from total girl magazines and any other free posters she can get. Sometimes I envy her and plans to make my side more dirtier as it looks, I am planning to scribbles around a paper and paste it on the wall just like she did. But up till now, its as empty as it can be

In the bedroom I have pinned to the wall my collection of 2010 New Model Hot Wheel cars in the packages. I am missing some and they are no longer for sale at WalMart where I got the rest of them. So now I have something to look for at yard sales and flea markets and online. It would be really cool to have the full set.
