As a citizen of a country what do you usually do if all you can read, see and hear are the increase in prices of all commodities. For me, thats what we got from all thats happening elsewhere. Bombings, political fightings, corruption of those in the higher ups as well as those in the lower levels, these are some of the causes.
What do you think are the other causes and what do you do?

Today I bought six fruit bars. I paid the full price 59 pence each but in the past they were three for one pound which was a much fairer price. I am finding some body care products and some healthy foods impossible to obtain now. Supermarkets are stopping many of the produce that I eat or use. Prices of food and drink are constantly going up. Petrol costs have gone up loads which makes me use my car less. Energy prices are going up and I paid my water bill last week. It was such a lot of money. I will be getting my electricity bill next I believe. This winter I will worry about the gas bill being huge. This is a recession and salaries haven't gone up. Everything seems to cost more and everyone is on a budget.

Thanks for the response. Really it is a global thing. The rich became more richer and the poorer became poor. As said earlier it is the political system, the different development plans of the different heads of countries, the terrorism, the catastrophees and the like. We really have to tigthen our belt just to live and not to buy things that we really dont need.

In these times where prices are soaring and you need to save up money, be practical in how you spend money. Try saving up on cost of utilities such as electricity and water. Also save up on gas by trying to commute instead of using your car or walking instead of taking a ride. As for the causes: crimes? - report to your local authorities and get the media involved. Same thing goes with corruption and other things you mentioned above. Its been tried, tested and proven that government officials act on issues once they see that its got media attention on it.

Thanks for the reply. We need really to go with the changing times. If there is a need to tighten our belt more then we must. It is also very true that when a crime or some issues were carried on by media, authorities act on it immediately. We must be very cooperative to person on authorities if we need to have results on some of our problems.
