I think Trust, and honesty are the bedrocks. If a couple is wiling nearly any issues involving physical compatibility can be resolved. However, there does need to be the spark of interest in the other person. You can meet in the middle on frequency but a person cannot generate attraction, What do you think?

In a relationship, it's also important to have that passion for one another. It's the feeling when you're willing to do anything for the person despite any circumstances involved. This fires up the relationship.

Yep, if you lose passion everything else will simply fall down.

Agreed, lying to your partner will make him have trust issues with you because say if you are telling the truth this time he may not believe you because of the lying you did from the past so honesty is important.

I think along with trust and honesty you also need communication. If you don't not communicate with each other its hard to have that relationship and I don't just mean talking to each other. What I mean is expressing emotins good and bad. Talking things overs and not yelling at each other. You need to be open and willing to talk about things instead of closing up and not letting things work out and get feelings out in the open.

I think you are right...trust and honesty are essential. There is never quite the same feeling if one has been betrayed by dishonesty. It's one of these...forgive but not forget cases.

It is so different now a days how people can through around the word relationship. I have seen myself being who I really am and individuals like everything about me, and then when I am not so nice there are still individuals that are interested in the type of person I am. To me the most important thin in a relationship is consistency. My friends are consistent and this is actually nice to have. I become attached in a positive way and I am willing to give and take more. Consistency is key.
