Hi my fellow Mylottians! I need some techie advice, but keep it simple, because the information I get must be Micky Mouse! In other words it needs to be easy to follow. I can't use my laptop right now cause the ethernet cable broke it's little hook on thingy... so I'm using my little Dell computer that has an air card on it. It's a great little computer but it has no cd drive to put in a driver for Microsoft Word. I have Microsoft Word.. I have the driver for it, but this computer has no place for a driver so I will need to download off the net. Is there a place I can download my already bought and paid for version of Microsoft Office 2007? I have the numbers for the version I have ... so I just can't seem to find the right place to do it.. on the net. Anyone can help? Thanks in advance. Oh I tried saving the Microsoft Office from my big laptop to my flash drive, but it has to be downloaded into my computer and there is now way to do it from my flash drive. so I need some help please.... Thanks in advance.. PQ

Hi PQ, seems as though you have things worked out. When I bought this laptop a year ago there was no key for Microsoft Word. So I deleted that version and installed an older one from an older laptop that I DID have a key for. It still won't work! Even Power Point which I use a free copy of, in some instances asks me for a key. I just don't get it. Why have it on the computer if we cannot use it? And it's my computer, bought and paid for so why don't I have a key??

Good question.. I don't know. I found the website from the MS Word drive on my big computer... I went there and put the key into it and tried to download it into my little computer and something happened where it didn't download for me... go figure! I do have the MSWord 2010 Starter on the little one... it's okay I guess.

Here is a trial version download link http://wareseeker.com/free-microsoft-word-2007-trial-version/ I hope your key will work for it. I too have had to deal with trying to get things onto a computer without cd access. At least you are fortunate enough to be able to connect to the internet with it. Please let me know if you can get it working. I'd love to see what you are writing about.

I don't really want to try a trial version.. I might get charged or something and I don't want that... I looked on my minnie in the all programs and found out I have the MS Word starter 2010 version.. and it is able to open all of my saved work.. so I can still work in MS Word and I can save and get to all my saved stuff. I'm glad of that.
