Well I am planning to buy a domain name but not necessary need to have keywords on it. I plan to buy a "brand name" of some sort. Can anyone suggest any?

It would depend on what the domain is going to be used for. If it will be a business you want something that centers around the core of what the business is. If it is about a person you will want something related to the person. Are you going to be developing a website at this domain? Do you intend to resell the domain or put it to work for yourself? Who do you want it to appeal to? What do you want people to find when they go there? I am interested in hearing about the project you are planning with this domain.

What do you plan to do? It is always smart to choose a name that immediately gives people an idea of what your website is all about.

I think you will find that most existing brand names will already have their brand domain name under their control, even if they don't have a website on it. Domain names depend heavily on what you intend to do with it though. For what reason are you buying a domain name? Are you going to start a website? If so, what is it going to be about and what are you going to do with it? You should pick a domain name that is relevant to what it is going to be about. It's pretty hard to suggest names without knowing at least an area of interest because domain names can be absolutely anything a person could think of.
