I have just recently began classes with a college using their online classes. I was only looking into information on the subject when I started getting over 40 calls a day from colleges all over the United States. I was overwhelmed and I won't share all the details but I think I was pressured into joining classes at a certain school called Everest Online.
I should have checked them out further before committing myself but now it is a little to late for the first term anyway. I thought I was getting approve through a government load with FASA but they switched up on me and now I have a direct loan with a private lender.
They started me in classes late so when I finally got a breather to google them on the internet what I found was not encouraging. Can anyone help me with some input about my situation and tell me how to find the information I need to understand my situation. If anyone knows for sure details about the school then I welcome them also.
I am in my third week and I am doing well but I am concerned that credits from this school won't be transferable to another school. Any input is welcome. Thanks for mylot, all of you are the greatest.

Yes I was bombarded with calls from colleges and I had also looked into health insurance so I couldn't stop the phone from ringing. I finally made a choice that I am unsure of but I will finish the semester until I can get some solid knowledge. I am in the process of talking to other colleges to see what the norm is. Thanks for your response.

Check with other schools that you might be interested in the future to see if the credits will be transferable. Post on other sites your situation as there might be someone who also has been through this situation. Also post about online schools, which ones are the best. If they told you your loan was to be under FASA, then it should be. You need to find out why they did not go with FASA. Good luck.
